It will be single digit order for those countries. The purpose is more like keeping a closer connection with China.
A good channel to send people to train in China or even hold exercises with PLA.
In this sense, even though JF-17 might suit them better and cheaper but buying JF17 means you deal with Pakistan instead of China.
J-10 on the other hand brings much more hidden value.
I think Bangladesh can order in double digits. But other than that, I think you are right.

Things have changed a lot in 8 years. Nowadays, j10c is not a fighter that really fits in plaaf plan of long range attack and escort. Back in 2014, j10 was the pride of plaaf. They didn't really think about selling it until more recently.

There are clear value in a more capable export aircraft until fc31 is available.

This is interesting, officially only mentioned as a J-10A "... assigned to an aviation brigade under the PLA Central Theater Command" its construction number reveals this as the very first serial J-10 with the cn. 0101!

And a J-10A brigade within the CTC can be the 43rd Air Brigade at Datong-Huairen, the 70th Air Brigade at Zunhua or the 2nd Training Brigade at Yongji under the Shijiazhuang Flight Academy.

Came across an article about PLAAF 15th Division, including this picture, safe to say J100101 was from the 43rd Brigade

One variation of the badge, number 43 shaped into a airplane, training at Zhangjiakou AB around April-May this year2022-04 training at Zhangjiakou AB.jpg

Another variation, from the same period

Not sure about this badge, although the pilot was from the 43rd

A Pakistani J-10C, allegedly the 13th unit that has not been handed over yet.

loving it

the J10CP deliveries have been fast starting In March 2022 and already we have over a dozen

considering until last year this time it was just a wet dream its actually a great achievement

now lets start to see JF17 Block III along with J10C
I appreciate the paint scheme the Pakistani's have chosen to use, I would endeavor to say it's better than those chosen by the PLAAF. Great looking bird all round.
