Yeah I saw that as well, but I'm not sure how reliable that specific news outlet is and at this stage I don't think the PAF had said anything yet.

60 are way too much. Pakistan is hemorrhaging money right now. Imo its very unlikely that this number is correct
Shilao and Yankee had a discussion on J-10CE's export potential today. Basically, people inside China didn't really know how many people would be interested in it when they first came out with FC-20. It was a very half hearted effort. I think they didn't get export permit for J-10C until probably 5 years ago.
I get the sense that they will put more effort into exporting J-10C now. For countries that China wants closer relationship with, it makes more sense to sell them an aircraft that is actually in service with PLAAF. So that when those countries buy J-10s, they can come train with PLAAF. Also for those countries that bought Chinese advanced trainers like JL-9 or JL-10, it makes more sense for them to fly J-10s afterward rather than JF-17.
They brought up the recent Sudan rumors. They also mentioned Serbia, Nigeria, Myanmar and Bangladesh as countries maybe interested in J-10.

Guys ... let's take it simple: We have a dedicated thread for news and this is new and most of all clearly NOT a J-10. As such no more replies and comments allowed here in this thread, and I really don't understand why this BS continues even after a clear warning!?
It will be single digit order for those countries. The purpose is more like keeping a closer connection with China.
A good channel to send people to train in China or even hold exercises with PLA.
In this sense, even though JF-17 might suit them better and cheaper but buying JF17 means you deal with Pakistan instead of China.
J-10 on the other hand brings much more hidden value.
