they said listeners from Chengdu who live around Huangtianba are reporting they've seen Pakistani pilots wondering around with their family shopping for white goods already, presumably they're in town training with their new planes. In fact one of the comment on the show says he's already had a game of pool with one of them, another one said he ran into one while at the hairdresser and had a brief chat and the guy said he's in China for training.

"500,000" meme (W or 万 is Chinese for ten thousand, this number is denominated in RMB) comes from the supposed reward MSS hand out to people if they report suspicious activities up to the government and it leads to genuine foreign agents getting caught. In reality rewards a much lower than that.

Back when CD was still alive I have seen at least one case of CDer refer to you as 德国老特务, or "that old German spy" in a similar vein. I think generally PLA does get quite annoyed when military watchers go into "bean counting" with serial numbers or ORBAT, perhaps more so than leaked photos. So you do have a bit of a fame among Chinese military watchers for being naughty.

The problem with J10 is that it was designed as a quantity and 'good enough' jet. I suppose you can say that about F16 but bear in mind Rafale, Gripen, EFT are designed to be the only fighter that supposedly can handle all tasks for operating nation. How good will J10CP be in Pakistani service remains to be seen.
