According to this poster, CAC puts a tarp on production aircraft only after they have completed test flights. He also claims that there are way more than 7 J-20s than shown.

Test flights can be conducted only after engines have been installed and all systems are a go.
This contrasts with an earlier post saying that WS-10B faced some troubles and has been resolved.

So ultimately, what they meant is ?

I know and even more I know for sure there were a few with 61x2x serials visible ... I'm still surprised that so far not a single image was posted yet.

Despite the missing serial number, the "red eagle" logo is eye-catching on this J-10S:

Belonging to the same brigade, the 4 J-10C flew near the highest peak in the world displayed the same logos:

This J-10S could be the one that took the videos and pictures of the formation:

How many times are you gonna re-post the same set of images, accompanied with yet more ho-hum, mundane, boring, dull, and bland observations?

Your posts amount to nothing more than: "Oh wow, here are some planes that flew over some tall mountains, and they had some logos painted on their stabilizers. Did you guys notice that? Let me repeat: J-10s with some logos flew over some mountains. Isn't that cool? I bet you never noticed that before, the combination of J-10s that can fly but also has a cool logo. By the way, did you notice the mountains and the logos?"

Please stop clogging this thread and others with your boring observations.

Whatever problem they had with the J-10C WS-10 variants... It has been resolved now. In service at a base in Shantou.

Wow ... this would solve in fact even two mysteries! First the it could confirm the former 9th Air Division, 25th Air Regiment at Shantou Northeast is still active as the 25th Air Brigade and it would finally reveal the first operational J-10C unit flying J-10C with WS-10B engines. This unit formerly flew J-7E.

PS: If it is correct what he says, then this brigade is now subordinated to the Eastern TC and no longer the STC

"情人节,给你们送个大礼[礼物]东部某航空兵旅换装10C实锤![拳头][给力]传说已久,终于证实……至于哪个旅,大家应该想得到[嘻嘻] 注意图二发动机 "

Can anyone confirm?

Shantou is part of Guangdong Province and faces the South China Sea (and Dongsha Island). Shouldn't Guangdong fall under STC?
