its being posted on PDF:

Tried to google up aircraft #1035, its a J-10B variant with all Chinese components aimed at export without restrictions, check out the differences with J-10B #1031. Visually different from the other J-10Bs. Note the blended canards joint, fixed wing pods are gone, different IRST, inflight refueling, slightly different nose end and smaller Pitot. I think it should be very comparable to the Rafael and F-16 Blk-60. PAF should definitely go for it.

the J10B 1035 is the PAF FC20 with internal ECM and the Chinese engine. Pakdef already reported that.

And how reliable is this ??? ... or is it simply wishfull-thinking ?!

Deino,

Reliability is an interesting question. I got the info before there was any picture of a J10b... You can read that somewhere on Pakdef. I was informed that the ECM was moved towards the frontal side of the canard a la Rafale. This was the design feature that PAF wanted. Now we can discuss about reliability but you know how long I am active on the net. Trust me. I do not say everything but I do know what is ok to be released when it comes to PAF. And if seniors of Pakdef put it on Twitter then I think you have enough weight to believe it. We do not use titles like big shrimp but we are a group of analysts that are better informed then some would expect.

Agreed, and sorry if I sounded a bit provoking ! You hit the nail exactly on its head, since we need to know the reliable posters and since I'm not active at PAKdef I wanted to be sure (at least as possible)

Thanks,
Deino

Could be the reason why J10B is delayed a little, since PAF and PLAAF are working together to establish the aircraft parameters to suite each others needs

Pakistan is very particular when it comes to the airforce, it's what happened when it came to the ZDK-03, the original platform did not meet the range and endurance that was required hence it was redesigned on a new Y-8 platform

Time will tell I guess

Well this is great news about Pakistan going for J-10Bs! Thanks Munir, for being there barer of good news.

There have been some interesting comments on PakDef, regarding J-10B's EW/ECM fairings which were seen under both wings, in the earliest of J-10B pictures. It is stated that the EW/ECM has been moved and it is now locate similar to the Rafales.

Anyone got something to support or refute this claim?

Munir is not explicitly saying that Pakistan would go for J-10B.

PAF might be keeping a lid on future procurement plans deliberately.

Notice that no news about JF-17 is emerging these days. Nothing about even Blk-2.

You have enough credits that it will not matter. ;) I am following your posts for a long time and you are one of those few that are always worth to read and reply. Danke.
