Serbia is trying to join EU, but not NATO in the same time. That is why J-10 could be chosen as a new supersonic fighter for Serbian Air Force, if the price is right, of course.
Since Serbia is surrounded with NATO countries, so in case of war we would be in war with NATO, and could not get any military hardware from China or Russia, and if we decide to buy western aircraft, they would deny any deliveries as long as the conflict lasts, naturally. So in case of war, it does not matter from whom we buy planes, all it matters is how much it costs, and is it any good for tasks we need it for.
