Serbia is trying to join EU, but not NATO in the same time. That is why J-10 could be chosen as a new supersonic fighter for Serbian Air Force, if the price is right, of course.
Since Serbia is surrounded with NATO countries, so in case of war we would be in war with NATO, and could not get any military hardware from China or Russia, and if we decide to buy western aircraft, they would deny any deliveries as long as the conflict lasts, naturally. So in case of war, it does not matter from whom we buy planes, all it matters is how much it costs, and is it any good for tasks we need it for.

As long as the people are white and christians the European have hardly any problem. Just look at how they treat Turkey while many former communist nations are allowed even before they reach certain level... Turkey moves away form Europe. Mark my words.

The red two-digit number in front:
1 J-10 two-seat prototype number is 1022 1023, etc. However, camouflage painting
2 J-10 batch production number but yellow painting.
3 this J-10 photo above, the red two-digit number is in front with a grey-coloured,should be J-10H. PLAAF J-10 digit number are defferent color and at defferent place of the plane.

basically the first picture of the 2 seater (I have no reason to believe it's not real) indicates that J-10 has entered service with PLANAF in the 4th division 12th regiment (83x4x). This is the same division that has Su-30MK2 under ESF.

The number of the plane appears to be 83148 (18 in the front). And the other photos are claimed to be part of PLANAF, because they have red number paint above the intake, which is something PLANAF does (and PLAAF paints numbers in yellow now)

So, this is the 1st J-10 regiment in PLANAF and 7th overall. From the production total of the 5th batch of J-10s, I'm expecting possibly another PLAAF regiment starting the conversion process this year.

What is the PLANAF going to do with J-10s anyway? Will they carry AShM at some point to attack ships, or does the PLANAF set up dedicated land based A-A fighter wings?
The first options seems a bit odd to me, since there's really good assets to do that with J-11s and JH-7As. J-10s seem a little small for that job compared to the other jets, and might actually have some small issues carrying a usefull loadout over a usefull distance.
