Interesting that the President of Palestine and their government operates from the West Bank. The West Bank which Israel controls 61% of it and is slowly chipping away at everyday. On a side note, the Abbas has been president since 2005 which was then extended indefinitely after the 2009 Council vote.

Why do I get the vibe of KMT from West Bank? Incompetent, complicit with enemies. Actually scratch that, more like Qing.

I saw someone asked would Hamas get material support if they linked up with West Bank, to which someone else replied with the analogy "if the Eighth Route Army linked up with

I am hoping that ground invasion gets delayed further which eventually leads to a much smaller operation.
In my opinion, weather is the smaller reason. They are waiting for the US Congress to elect a speaker. Without a speaker, there can be no aid. And Republicans nominated someone very pro-Israel.

The best thing for Netanyahu to do is to send in a small force, make lots of noise, say that we showed them who’s boss, and make an exit.
Knowing Netanyahu, IDF will go scorched earth.

The problem is that they've already identified the planner, Mohammed Deif. If Netanyahu don't provide sufficient evidence of his demise then it'll backfire on Netanyahu which he can't afford as he's facing jail time for corruption.

Another MSM outlet reporting about Mohammed Deif:

You could be right, but they might be waiting for quite a while. The House Republicans are very disorganized and fractured. I am not sure if the groups within the caucus will be able to find common ground.
