Israel Ceasefire in Gaza

The US achieved all its goals, using Hamas to trigger a regional war finally eliminating Syria and wiping out Hezbollah's senior leadership.

Iran is left weaker and more isolated than it has been in decades.

Israel is withdrawing its forces as it always does to reorganize and prepare for the next episode of violence which will be aimed at what's left of Hezbollah, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran itself.

Israel pretends it is angry at being pressured into a ceasefire, Hamas supporters imagine they've achieved some sort of victory.

All of this will repeat itself again inevitably.

No matter how many times this grotesque theater is recycled, people's emotions blind them from seeing clearly and keep them all locked in and committed to keeping this strategy of tension in play.

Just as I warned people about Hamas and October 7, 2023, I'm warning people about allowing their emotions to shape their perception of this current and only temporary pause.

Iran is next. This is a necessary and temporary pause to prepare for the next stage of reshaping and reasserting control over the region.

More: How Neither Israel nor Hamas Won Anything

▪️Many assume Hamas "won" because they remain standing. If Hamas was a legitimate resistance organization this would be true, but it isn't;

▪️This also assumes Israel's objective was to actually eliminate Hamas - it was not. Israel along with the US and its other proxies in the region (Qatar especially) created and prop up Hamas specifically to maintain a deadly strategy of tension, justify Israel's perpetual state of extremism and militarization, and as both a proxy and pretext for war in the region;

▪️Many look at the immense death, destruction, and setbacks Israel helped deliver to Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, Russia and Iran and conclude this is a victory for Israel, yet it did all of this at the expense of its economy and global standings;

▪️In reality, Hamas and Israel are both proxies who have no genuine interest in their own self-preservation or any long-term constructive future for the populations they preside over;

▪️As long as the general public defer to their emotions rather than evidence and real analysis, this deadly theater will continue, a detriment to the entire region regardless of what side anyone is on;

▪️Iran must run with the "Hamas victory" narrative because it was wounded and isolated and is attempting to appear strong. It has also attempted for years to pivot Hamas toward legitimate resistance and seeks to assume the role of cheif sponsor of the resistance from US proxies like Qatar and the Western-sponsored Muslim Brotherhood who pretend to lead and underwrite the resistance even as they help the US overrun Syria, Libya, and Iran itself...

I dunno man, seems like Israel won big already, they killed a lot of their enemies, I don't see how that is not winning.

I concur. He definitely missed with that part. Israel changed the region, just like they said they would. He cannot claim that Israel didn't win just because they had 4 quarters of negative gdp growth and because their global image has suffered (like Israel even cares). Israel paid a small price for what it has accomplished.

Israel accomplished nothing but further radicalized the 100% of Gaza (unlike before), and a greater deal of West Bank permanently.

More than the global image, you forget the regional image and the environment they live in as well.

Imagine tomorrow the US collapses, or there is some regime change in Egypt, or any other Muslim country in the region, what will happen?

People inside of those countries are currently the most anti-Israel in history, with regimes weak, perfect recipe for disaster for Israel.

Currently, no one won yet, with Palestinians suffering more heavily obviously, in the short term, but they knew from the beginning this would be a long run if they wanted to truly fight and completely regain the freedom they have been deprived of.

And their long-term prospects currently look improved to me at least after this round of fighting for various reasons.

You think that regime change in Syria was some monumental thing as if they didn't already control Golan and Syrian airspace,

Or as if the Zionists now control 100% of the Syrian new regime when in fact it was not the case, it could very well backfire in the end.

This is a sad point, if the nearby Arabs needs a year of genocide to be reminded of Zionist brutality, the fight is already over. It's not like Israel suddenly sprang into being in 2023.

the thing is that whether "image doesn't matter/soft power doesn't real" or not, israel torched it all (not its own, US coverage and international institutions) for nothing and aren't even able to settle and absorb gaza like the oct 7 conspiracists -originally- claimed was the intent. syria was already walking dead regardless if something like the demolition could be pulled off. hezb is still there after israel couldn't get anywhere on the ground. again i know these people are fringe to begin with but it's just laughable how the inside job guys first said it was a false flag to take gaza and now it's just there for some nebulous "strategy of tension" that literally would be backfiring if it were true

I don't know man, if I'm Iran I would stop bothering with the Arabs from now on, and for the foreseeable future. Just focus on developing your country and mastering the technologies. Iran and its allies are the only Middle Eastern countries brave enough to stick their necks out for the Palestinian cause, and what did all this bring them? Qatar are doing photo ops now celebrating the ceasefire, but no one is even acknowledging all the heavy lifting done by Iran and its allies. In Syria's case, they even cheered when the government fall.
