US Deputy National Security Adviser Jon Finer said last Thursday that Pakistan’s missile capabilities were an “emerging threat … fundamentally focused on us”, triggering concerns in Islamabad about Washington’s intentions.

Noting that Pakistan’s Shaheen-3 ballistic missiles have the range to hit India’s most distant military facilities in the Bay of Bengal and Israel, veteran political commentator Nusrat Javed said Pakistan could only be considered a threat by the US “if it counts Israel as its 51st state”.

The US and its allies “think Muslim countries should not possess nuclear weapons technology because we Muslims are crazy”, Javed said in a television programme.

Other Pakistani analysts have drawn parallels between Washington’s surprise move and Israel’s recent attacks on the air defences of Syria and Iran and raised the possibility of twin air strikes by Israel and India against Pakistan.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect Pakistan to get rolled up into this. But it would make sense from a US perspective to start thinking about dismantling Pakistan, in preparation for the conflict with China.

Why complete disarmament and denazification must be pursued against American aggression, in the style of the Ukraine war.

Leave only the willing deserters, women and children behind. These people can't control themselves and need an extended "people's tutelage" like what the USSR put east Germany under.

And in the end we all know how that turned out for these people. Make no mistake, Israel may seem to be in in the advantage right now but sooner or later should the tides turn, Israel shouldn’t expect any mercy for any of its loved ones when the time eventually comes. Seriously to harm a 4 year old like that, one day these commanders may eventually live in fear of the same happening to their own children and wives and potentially even themselves. This is the world that the USA wants for everyone that is not them. Imagine how much the world would want to do the same back if the opportunity comes
