Here is a partial answer to your questions:
US intelligence officials believe that despite the massive bombing and ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Force has so far only managed to kill around 20-30% of Hamas fighters, further believing that Hamas still it has enough ammunition, from rockets to mortars, to continue launching barrage-style attacks in southern and central Israel for several more months.

Little detail about the resistance fighters that appears to go largely unnoticed: Hamas aren't the only ones fighting IDF in Gaza! There is also,
  1. al-Qassam Brigades (which many falsely think is part of Hamas)
  2. al-Quds Brigades
  3. Palestinian Islamic Jihad
  4. Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) / al-Nasr Salah ad-Din Brigades
  5. Fatah Tanzim
  6. al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigades
  7. National Resistance Brigades
  8. Jihad Jibril Brigades
  9. Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades
  10. Palestinian Popular Jihad Brigades
..and numerous other smaller groups.

I don't know how they all interact with each other during war because some of them are opponents. But they all have one goal in common: destroy Israel. Some of these groups are active in specific parts of Gaza. My guess is that they divide the work (of targeting Israel) by alotting specific areas to each other.

I have only seen combat video releases by #1, 2, 3, 6, and 9.
Did this Haaretz survey differentiate between combatants and civilians?
Not that I know of.

What would a Israeli civilian be doing in Gaza? I don't know if the Gazan or Hezbollah rockets are causing that much civilian casualties inside Israel.

Things are getting more deadly for IDF. More and more RPG attacks directly on infantry.

Unexploded ordinances in Gaza

D9 caught in an ambush, obliterated by IED. Helicopter shoots flares. Twisted metal from destroyed vehicles/copter? Captured equipment.

'The moment a Houthi missile launches into the Red Sea, attacks a Greek ship until it explodes and smolders'

New footage by al-Qassam of the convoy ambush targeting the jeep with ATGM. Seems like they had multiple spotters at different locations.

So the resistance managed to kill a major general? That must have depleted the morale.
I'm not really sure of the specifics, like this thread has said before, the IDF has a lot of officers. Also the IDF will give a grade promotion to a soldier or officer who is killed, I'm not quite sure what military rank this one had during his lifetime.

UPDATE: IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari issued an urgent statement on "the toughest day":

Spokesman said that the "toughest incident", which took place near the barrier between Gaza and the Israeli settlement of Kisufim, resulted in the deaths of 21 reservists, and that the names of 10 of the dead have already been released, with the remaining names expected to be approved for release in the coming hours.

The explosives that claimed the lives of the 21 Israeli soldiers were not planted by Palestinian resistance forces, but by the Israeli army itself, as they were preparing to carry out a demolition of Palestinian homes. At around 4:00 p.m. yesterday, Palestinian resistance forces fired a grenade at an Israeli tank near the site of the incident, an attack that accidentally detonated the explosives installed by Israeli sappers, leading to the premature demolition of two buildings and the consequent deaths and injuries of a large number of Israeli soldiers who were still inside the buildings at the time of the explosions, and the subsequent rescue operation that lasted well into the night.

Spokesman said that he had noticed that some media outlets had revealed information about the incident in advance yesterday, and he appealed to the Israeli media to comply with the military's instructions not to release information in advance, which could harm the families of the dead and cause the situation to worsen

While I was aware of the IDF's long history of meeting military spending limits by exploiting Army soldiers before this war broke out, these wartime IDF news stories are still ridiculous.

The first story, 16 year old selling IDF arms, fuck I was still trying to get the diamond rank of Rainbow Six when I was 16 and this one was selling arms and scamming.

Second story, some reservists fighting with Hamas are only getting half their paychecks, not to mention part of it is in the form of hotel vouchers. This is outrageous.

Outrageous Israeli military review, the guy on the right died on October 7, but the IDF is only now recognizing him as dead.

But these are still good open sources of intelligence because the IDF publishes the military unit numbers.
Not defending the IDF, but it seems like a pretty strange situation.

The date that is reported is actually the day of the soldiers' death, but in the description they report that the soldier was kidnapped, therefore, there is no way to declare him dead unless there is some confirmation of this, if he was declared kidnapped, he only may have been kidnapped after the Hamas attack on October 7th, the criticism would be valid if Israel actually confirmed his death on the same day as the kidnapping, which again I argue was probably October 7th.
