I said rough estimate.
To be more precise, it's probably better to say 'guesstimate', and this number is from some people I follow ( and ), although only mentioned in their livestreams (they base it on various factors, such as news/leaks about buryings for IDF, Hamas released footage/statements, looking at deployment/retreat of units etc.).
As for their 'credits', they have made various videos (and also talked pretty extensively in livestreams) about the middle east, which includes analysis and use of many, many sources (1st and 2nd hand, both books, videos etc. and also both from US/Israel side as well as Iran/Hezbollah etc.).
Overall, I personally trust them quite a lot when it comes to middle east conflict and their judgement and analysis of current Gaza conflict.
Because this is the official estimate based on official numbers. There is no way to know the real estimate, because Israel lives under military censorship with its own IDF unit censoring the media.

Seems like it was a bit ago (more than 30 minutes), so if it was a bigger missiles attack, we should have more confirmation by now.
I posted a video earlier of a major attack on Haifa Port. The level of damage was quite serious. It was a drone/missile attack launched from Iraq.
