The Israeli army has isolated Gaza City from the rest of the Palestinian enclave.

The Washington Post writes about this with reference to a Planet Labs satellite image (which has not been published).

From the image, according to the newspaper, it can be concluded that the Israeli offensive penetrated approximately 6.5 km to the northwest and reached the Al-Shati refugee camp.

Units moving from east to south Gaza also covered a similar distance and isolated the city from the south.

The conclusion about the advance was made based on traces of armored vehicles visible by satellite images, from which the depth of the IDF offensive could be estimated (on the map).

Earlier today, the Israeli army claimed that it revealed a secret military tunnel used by Hamas at Sheikh Hamad Hospital. The footage they released showed the Israeli army digging up ground to reveal a hatch, followed by Israeli soldiers dismounting towards the area. However as indicated by

, the Israeli army showed the underground chamber for the hospital's electrical generators & ventilation shaft. The main generator is underneath to avoid loud sounds. He attached two photos of that hatch available online from earlier. Evidently, as the Israeli army is now in control of this Qatar-fudned hospital, they could send some cameras inside and show the military tunnels had there been any. Though do note, I don't deny the possibly of dual-use facilities in Gaza, however this doesn't justify any of the Israeli attacks nor is inline with the laws of war.

Gaza government: We are ready for an international investigation into our hospitals

The government media office in the Gaza Strip said that the Israeli occupation army began implementing its threat against hospitals in the besieged Strip, explaining that all Israeli raids - in recent hours - targeted the vicinity of hospitals.

The media office refuted the occupation's claims regarding Gaza's hospitals, stressing that they only provide medical services, and expressing its readiness to receive a UN committee to verify the conditions of hospitals.

The same source said that the occupation relied on forgery and broadcast fabricated images to promote its claims about Gaza’s hospitals.

He added, "For 3 days, the occupation has been preventing us from removing the wounded from the Gaza Strip," noting that the Israeli forces are pursuing a policy of siege and starvation with the Gaza Strip.

The office said, "We place the responsibility of protecting hospitals, especially Al-Shifa Hospital, on international bodies, including the United Nations."

Israeli violations against the health sector in Gaza caused the death of more than 150 health personnel, the destruction of 27 ambulances, in addition to 16 hospitals and 32 primary health care centers being out of service.

— NEW: Hezbollah confirms it targeted the Kiryat Shmona settlement with 112mm Grad (Katyusha) rockets, as a response to the Israeli killing of civilians in Lebanon

Note: This is the first time Hezbollah officially targeted a non-military target in Israel, and also the first time they used rockets instead of mortars or ATGMs.

At the beginning of the video, an Iron Dome missile spirals downwards and hits very close to an Israeli home.

Towards the end of the video, in the background, we can see a second Iron Dome missile also malfunctioning and heading downwards.
