Well, if you read the reactions of Indian nationalists they see this incident as "further proof" of their awesome Brahmos missiles working as intended. They actually mock the Pakistani for "failing" to intercept, and destroy the incoming missile showing that Pakistani Air Defense Shield if there ever was one is useless as well as wholly ineffective, not to mention that it's deficient due to being defended by Chinese made SAM batteries.

By that "logic" Aegis is useless because Kim Jong Un lobs ballistic missiles over Japanese air space every time the wind blows the wrong way.

Our technicians are incompetent and accidentally lobbed a missile into a neighboring nuclear country, and that can be a good thing?

I don't know who this "SQ8" is, nor am I familiar with his credentials.

Neither of us actually knows where exactly the HQ-9B batteries were at the time, but it's irrelevant anyway. Interception of cruise missiles is not something I expect either India or Pakistan to do, regardless of our HQ-9Bs or your S-400s. I don't even expect the US or Russia to be able to intercept CM slavos effectively over-land (sea is a different story.) I've been saying this about CMs for years on this forum. The S-400s couldn't intercept Tomahawks in Syria. And they certainly won't be able to intercept Baburs/RAADs in India.
