How credible is this? Who wants some old Indian T-72 tanks?

Any old T-72 from India is most likely gonna be trashed and dirty. I don't think it's wise to trust the Indian "upgrade and refurbishment" work. Chances are, those tanks are not gonna drive for long. Better for those tanks to go back to Russia for restoration, or just prepare to scrap them. Nevertheless, if anyone is looking for bargain T-72s, and couldn't care less about their condition, this might be decent deal.

India might also start selling their old BMP-2s in the future. Good luck to anyone who is gonna buy them and ride in them.

They can technically return it to Russia or sell them to Ukraine.

The Indians seem to want to sell them to other 3rd countries first. Because it looks more "prestigious" to sell hand-me-downs to other smaller militaries.

But of course Russia and Ukraine may definitely want those T-72s to replenish their own stocks. I just think that if those T-72s were somehow sold to Ukraine, then India is really starting to troll Russia.

They can try. The thing is all the tanks produced have their own chassis number and these people are dumb enough not to remove these. Bulgaria is one such example. They initially claimed they did not send tanks to Ukraine but they left all the signboards in Bulgarian inside and got caught doing it.

The Indians would have to carefully think if backstabbing Russia is that profitable or not.

This article claims the exports would be done in cooperation with Russia. So Russia would supposedly have some kind of input on where the tanks end up.

Most militaries do not use SMGs. They are basically useless at stopping people wearing modern body armor.
At best it will be used by special forces in certain hostage rescue situations and the like. To reduce hostage fatalities in case you shoot someone by mistake. Military police might also use them.

My guess is the Indian guy with the pistol loaned his SMG to the American guy and used his backup pistol instead. Because that SMG is an MP9 that AFAIK is not used by the US Armed Forces. Not that I know of. But Indian special forces have limited numbers of them. The pistol he's using seems like a Browning Hi-Power 9mm licensed copy the Indians still use.

Great! Now they're actually exporting weapons that other countries are willing to buy!

Some insight on Indian RnD effort toward engine and overall challenges facing them, there is however a part i disagree

Regardless one have previous experience or not, it's actually quite normal process for an engine to be developed concurently with the platofrm, say Su-27 was developed together with AL-31F and in US F-100 was developed with F-15's. F-135 and 136 developed for JSF/JAST program and of course EJ-200 developed for Eurofighter program.
