H-6 Bomber Aircraft Discussions

I think the FT-5 and LS-6 are operational. LT-3 might be as well.

I suppose Chinese JDAMs use Beidou . Article on wikipedia (yeah , I know it is not a very reliable source :p ) mentions that military service with 10cm accuracy is not yet operational . Is this true ?

Global system (BeiDou Navigation Satellite System or BeiDou-2)
Description
Accuracy
Coverage polygon of BeiDou-2 in 2012.

BeiDou-2 (formerly known as COMPASS)[32] is not an extension to the older BeiDou-1, but rather supersedes it outright. The new system will be a constellation of 35 satellites, which include 5 geostationary orbit satellites for backward compatibility with BeiDou-1, and 30 non-geostationary satellites (27 in medium earth orbit and 3 in inclined geosynchronous orbit),[33] that will offer complete coverage of the globe. There will be two levels of service provided; free service to civilians and licensed service to Chinese government and military users:[14][34]

The free civilian service will have a 10 meter location-tracking accuracy, will synchronize clocks with an accuracy of 10 ns, and measure speeds within 0.2 m/s.
The restricted military service will have an accuracy of 10cm.[35][36] To date, this service has been granted only to the People's Liberation Army and to the Military of Pakistan.[37] The military signal will be available to the Pakistani Armed Forces from June 2013.[38]
The licensed service will be more accurate than the free service, can be used for communication, and will supply information about the system status to the users.

They have never disclosed the military military service accuracy but according to official press BDS has already proven itself in defense. For now BDS open service has a positioning accuracy of 10 meters and the BeiDou Ground Base Enhancement System (BGBES) is expected to help improve its positioning precision to 2 centimeters horizontally and 5 centimeters vertically via tri-band real-time precision positioning technology, and to 1.5 meters with the single-frequency differential navigation technology.

Why China called H-6K God of war?

Does it contains some strong ECM that will take out BVRAAM or super chaff that will be immune to SRAAM?

While at the same time, it fired the cruise missile to attack long range ground targets?

God of war sounds it will be invincible.

Maybe it is symbolizing the "long-range artillery characteristic" of the H-6K.

For the Artillery is often nicknamed "The God of War" for its ability to kill and destroy at stand-off ranges making them pretty much invulnerable to the enemy (until they decide to counter-barrage, but this nickname was coined before this technology was viable). Much like the nicknames for the other services, such as "King of the Battlefield" for the armour/tanks, "The Queen of Battle" for the Infantry etc.

Good to see Pakistan has access to the Chinese military spy satellites, they have and will provide even better and more accurate information about Indian troop movements allowing the high command to make decisions on war fronts

But not surprising, it is widely believed Chinese military was providing intelligence during Kargil War in 1999 when they also sent 40 F7PG, M11 missiles (within 24 hours) and ammunition supply's ships were docking at Karachi shipyard 2 weeks after the event

New Chinese satellites constellations will allow for real time movement updates which otherwise Pakistan would not have

Actually it's the Field Artillery that is known as the King of Battle, while the Armour tanks are known as the Knight of Battle. All according to the ranks and movements like Chess pieces. And you're right the infantry is called the Queen of Battle.;)

Stalin the man of steel of Russia called Artillery the god of Battle. Aggressive names for military hardware is nothing new in fact its SOP. In a actual conventional fight though these bombers like the American B52 are dinosaurs. Its only real use is to try and launch long range missiles. The best use otherwise is in non conventional conflict where they can pound the living hell out of a enemy in open territory.

Oh... come on, people. It is just a name, for goodness sake. Seriously...

Of course we wouldn't expect the Chinese to call her aircraft flying sparrow or winged rabbit, right? It is a bomber... of course the Chinese will call it something aggressive or sounding invincible... but whether it really is invincible or not, remains to be seen.
