H-20 bomber (with H-X, JH-XX)

Can a flying wing, cranked kite and/or blended wing body go supersonic? And without variable geometry.

How outlandish would an aircraft that blends purported JH-XX and H-20 capabilities be?

That I've been wondering too as it appears from this specific model with the V-tail, the sweep angle of it's blended wing body is much greater compared to the B-2 and the B-21, perhaps combined with the V-tail it could allow for operations in faster flight regimes, but because it won't have afterburners super cruising does seem very difficult for such a large aircraft.

Like the other poster said I don't think this is required of a stealth bomber, way too expensive of a platform to risk doing dive bombing.
It's not dive bombing.... read a little about the b-47 lofting nuclear bomb vertically. A manoeuvre like that could toss a ballistic missile nicely or a glide bomb from low altitude. Combining stealth and low altitude could be a possibility.

We don't know why it would have a tail or if it will have one, but if it have it's probably to ensure a level of maneuverability greater than just a flying wing like the B2.

H20 model displayed at Changchun air show.

How come this forum and r/LCD uncritically accepts his post that suggest this is indeed a model presented at Changchun air show as gospel? No one even ask for sources to run a background check?

This photo has been up on weibo for almost a day, which leads me to believe that this model doesn't contain any sensitive info (i.e., not in good correspondence with the actual H-20 project)

Fair enough, I can see lofting might slightly increase ALBM range.

How do you know B-2 doesn’t have problem with cross winds during takeoff and landing?

It maybe so, on the whole B-2 doesn't seem to have abnormally high accident rate so I assumed it wasn't a problem.

Oh it's definitely not a model from the Changchun airshow it's a crappy fan animation from

But it's interesting speculating about this design as it's appeared here and there from weird places. No one knows what the H-20 looks like, and most certainly won't know what it will look like until it's officially revealed. All we know it's some sort of flying wing design.
