In the area of that mockup (roughly north of it) there is a large structure that is surrounded by some kind of fenceline or barricade or trench. It also appears to have pockmarks from bombs or something.
Its at about 40.249x 99.846. In looking at it again, though, it looks like it might be something innocuous like a mining operation of some sort.

Checking the map, there are a lot of places in China that has yet to be covered by high resolution satellite photography. Most of the high res stuff are not surprisingly, around towns and cities as opposed to the country side. I also see many bases that appear to be empty but they have rows of hangers.
Also can't see a lot of the JJ-7s and JJ-6s in addition to the J-6s that are left in open air storage.
I checked some other countries airforce bases and I don't see a lot of planes in the open either.
