Anqing Airbase 30°35'N 117°02'E has 20 H-6 "Badger" bombers in the open. There is also some sort of underground complex under the hill to the northwest - the entrances are clearly visible:

Daishan Airbase 30°17'N 122°08'E is visible but appears unused.

Fuzhou Airbase 26°01'N 119°22'E is also devoid of aircraft in the open but is unusual in that it has several camouflaged hardened aircraft shelters and camouflaged tarmac:

Ganzhou Airfield 25°47'N 114°50'E is visible but no aircraft can be seen...

Also worth a look, although my systematic search hasn't got there yet is Wuhu Airbase 31°23' 29.65"N 118°24'41.96"E -clearly visible Flankers and J-7Es. Beautiful.

Note to self: Last one I looked at is Luqiao Airbase short-range 28°34'N 121°26'E which has loads of J-7Es and Q-5s at it.

Google Earth: Mystery aircraft at Chengdu

As well as numerous J-7s and some J-10s, there are these assorted aircraft:

What are they?

Cheers, that's awesome. I was hoping to see some AWACS. The "balance beam" Y-8 is particularly interesting.

Luqiao Airbase 28°34'N 121°26'E is another J-7 base. Again the J-7E~G varients are in strength:

Nanchang New Airfield 28°37'N 115°52'E appears to be a training base with numerous light aircraft and some jets - probably JJ-6 "Farmer" trainers. One aircraft of interest appears to be a JL-8 (K-8) trainer:

Nanchang Xiangtang Airbase 28°23'N 115°50'E is visible but no aircraft are apparent.

Nanjing Airbase 31°59'N 118°48'E is a bomber base with 22 H-6 "Badger" bombers in the open. Several Y-7 and Y-8 transports as well as what looks like a derelict C-47 ("Y-4"?) transport:

You can't forget the mockup of Taiwan's CCK etched in the desert near the Mongolian border 40 22 40 - 99 54 00 Airfield and Mockup on left, Taiwan's CCK on right...

Shanghai Dachang Airbase 31°19'N 121°25'E has three JH-7 Strike bombers in the open. One has it's wings removed - they can be seen nearby. There is a Boeing 747 airliner, a Y-8 transport and a J-6 or JJ-6 "Farmer":

I had difficulty locating Shanghai Jiangwan Airfield 31°20'N 121°30'E but I did find a J-8-II fighter base just north of Shanghai near the town of Pang Chen:

Shanghai Longhua Airstrip 31°10'N 121°27'E is visible but appears to be disused with what looks like recent housing encrouching onto the runway area.

Suzhou West Airfield 31°16'N 120°25'E is visible and many JJ-6 Trainers can be seen.

Tunxi Airstrip 29°45'N 118°17'E is visible but no aircraft can be seen.

Guangzhou Baiyun Airport 23°11'N 113°16'E is visible but it's civilian

Guangzhou East Airfield 23°09'N 113°22'E is visible but deserted except for two transports (civilian?)

Guangzhou Shadi Airbase 23°05'N 113°04'E seems to be a J-8-II "Finback" base with eight aircraft at the north end of the tarmac. But there is also a lone H-6 "Badger" bomber there:

Huiyang Airbase 23°03'N 114°36'E is visible and has 48(!) J-6 (Mig-19) "Farmer" fighters. The airbase appears to be in disrepear and my guess is that the J-6s are in open storage.

Jialaishi Airbase 19°41'N 109°43'E also appears to be used for storage of obsolete J-6 "Farmer" fighters and possibly J-7 "Fishbed" fighters, although because these are deployed at most two per dispersal these may be operational:

Shantou Northeast Airfield 23°25'N 116°45'E has about 15 (it's difficult to tell if it's a plane or an oil stain where a plane has been in some instances) J-7 "Fishbed" fighters:

Suixi Airbase 21°23'N 110°14'E is visible but only one J-11 Flanker is visible. There are extensive hardened aircraft shelters.

Jiaocheng Airbase 36°19'N 120°01'E is noteworthy for it's early model J-8s (J-8-I Finback "A", possibly modernised for recce)
