Jiugucheng Airbase 37°29'N 116°06'E has an assortment of J-10, J-7 and JJ-6 aircraft. The 'washed out' image makes identification difficult but the canard foreplanes of the J-10s can be seen.

Laiyang Airbase 36°57'N 120°35'E is visible and has Y-8 transports.

Liuting Airbase 36°15'N 120°22'E is visible but appears to be a civilian airport. There is another base nearby which is in poor repair and appears to be used for open storage:

Weifang Airbase 36°38'N 119°06'E is visible and has 76 J-6 "Farmer" (MiG-19) fighters which are probably in open storage.

Wendeng Airbase 37°10'N 122°13'E has several J-8-II Finback interceptors and some J-7 Fishbed fighters present:

Hmmm ... my first idea was: "Great" ... but after looking at several sources I didn't find a Jiugucheng Airbase within the Jinan Military Region !!!

So where is it and what regiment is stationed there ??? :confused: Any help ????

And besides that are there any pictures from the other two bases with J-10 regiments ???

Thanks in advance, Deino :D

The lat-long list I'm using is borrowed off Global Security website who I think borrowed it off FAS. The coordinates are pretty poor.
Here's a map showing where it is:

hope this helps.

Hmmm ... Thanks again, but ... what regiments are there ???

I don't know if this list correct, but there are my latest suspicious bases:

Cangzhou-Cangxian = 13th Operational Trials Regiment of the FTTC
Changxing or Wuhu = 3rd Fighter Division / 5th Air Regiment (?)
Mengzi = 44th Fighter Division / 130th Air Regiment
Kunming = 44th Fighter Division / 131st Air Regiment
Wenjiang a/p, Chengdu = 3rd Test Flight Regiment (CAC)

But what's stationed at:

Xuzhou Daguozhang Airbase = ????
Kashi Airbase = ???

Thanks for Your help and keep up that great work !!!:china:

Cheers, Deino

Xuzhou Daguozhang Airbase has a load of J-7s (not later J-7E~G models) lined up.
Kashi is a smal airbase up in the mountains, nothing seen in the sat image, no dispersals, no shelters etc.

Mengzi airbase cannot be seen clearly enough to say what's there.

Cangzhou has a Flanker (J-11?) visible, some Finbacks and Fishbeds.

Found another base from Scramble.net info. Chifeng 赤峰, 42º 9' 50" N 118º 50' 49" E. Reportedly 2nd Air Regiment with J-7Es. I count 34 J-7Es in open.

Looked again at Harbin-Lalin, 45º 36' 55" N 126º 41' 2" E. 3 H-5 "Beagle" bombers seen.

Weifang, 36º 38' 25" N 119º 6' 49" E, is according to Scramble.net a Q-5 Fantan base. I counted 73 in the open(!).

Bengbu, 32º 55' 50" N 117º 21' 58" E, home of the 13th Flying Academy (unlucky for some?) has 5 JL-8 (K-8) trainers in the open.

Kuerle, 41º 41' 48" N 86º 7' 54" E, is according to Scramble.net the home of 109th Air Regiment who operate J-7Gs. I counted 28 J-7s which most/all were J-7E~G models.

Wugong, 34º 16' 21" N 108º 15' 31" E, is home of a bomber division with H-6E "Badger" bombers. I counted 34 H-6 aircraft.
