which is why it is high time that China reclaims its rightful place and remind those war hawks and neo con bastards is the USA and other places in Asia, that too cross Chinas red line one time too many will have lethal consequences in every sense of the word and also to remind the Japanese (should they continue to ride that colonial shaft) who are the real sick men of Asia and in case one thinks I am being to harsh, just look at their aging population, the falling birth rate (which suggest fertility issues of the worse kind) and their love for hugging body pillows because they simply don’t know how to get some and simply watch way too many hentai for their own good. Seriously, I once looked at Japan with some respect (bastard issues against China none with standing) but nowadays, somehow I always seem to see them as a bunch of sleazy d-bags that loves to screwing in front of a Camera, must be all the anime I watch that seems to have the camera angle faced towards there ass. Oh well, somehow I do get the feeling that a sizable part of their population is getting real sick of the bullshit but really, the leadership is lead by a bunch of stupids lunatics although recently one of them got struck by the Zelensky curse so maybe things will move in a more positive direction sooner or later.
China right now for all of its imperfections IS reclaiming its rightful place in the world WITHOUT unnecessary war -building and improving its citizens' lives,economy,infrastructure,global political/economic presence is burgeoning ,strengthening by the day.Its military prowess and technologies ,size,discipline etc is now commensurate with said size and will grow as well.
Which is good and ultimately the best way forward but China should still be ready to use force when there is simply no other choice and as a final resort give how irrational the collective west is now becoming. There a lot of room to grow but J guess China should still be careful either way

The are inside so called territorial waters of Diaoyu Islands or just nearby they patrol? How many times do they patrol Diaoyu, almost daily now?
Inside, otherwise it wouldn't even get a mention in the news because CCG basically patrols the waters around Diaoyu Islands 365 days a year these days.
I think the usual is two CCG ships around those islands. Sometimes you see Japan say they are noticing four ships - that's when there's a change of shift.
This is why I used this as an example for "new normal". This constant patrol around Diaoyu Islands is a new normal established by CCG after those Diaoyu Island incidents years ago. Eventually CPC said enough is enough and played their cards and the new normal has been like this since.
i wonder if this sort of shortage could open up opportunity for China to slip sleeper agents into the ROC forces. get a few decent candidates into these academies, once they graduate give them some money to bribe their way up the rank. if you have enough of these it may prove to be quite effective in wartime.
