Asia thoroughly rejected US provocations and Most have explicitly affirmed their commitment to One-China in their statements on the crisis..

Surely no US war against China is going to be about occupying and overthrowing the government (i just watched the Tucker Carlson clip), rather it is about stopping China's rise to be number one, to put an end to the belt and road thing. It is about containment, right? It can look like a military defeat for the USA in the area around China (Taiwan unification and so on will be a pyrrhic victory for China) but if China ends up contained and the USA continues to 'rule the waves', it is a victory for the Anglo-Saxons, right?

Just as the war in Ukraine was never about a Ukrainian victory and a march by the fascists on Moscow, rather it is about tying Russia up in knots whilst the attack on China gets underway, isnt it?

We are all on the same page here, arent we?

How would the US contain China by losing a war against China over Taiwan? With the help from Russia and countries in central Asia, China would be able to get materials to sustain the war and beyond. Also a blockade of China by the US will be far from a certain success. With the manufacturing capacity of China, a blockade would likely hurt the US and her allies more than China and her allies.

So I don't think we are on the same page here, sorry.

I too could not verify the credibility of that statistic. There was no details about the sample group. So I posted it as more of a light hearted statistic.

Of course it is far from certain.

But what is absolutely certain is that if the USA does nothing then China will be number one.

The USA has to fight or lose its position (or share, but that is not in its nature, imo)

Any war can go on for one hundred years for all the Anglo-Saxons care (there have been 100 years wars before).

The USA doesn't even care about its own people, just look at the approach to Covid by the USA and the China - the USA simply does not care (sure they say some things every now and then, but there are personality types that spew out all kinds of verbal diarrhoea).
