The Chinese military closed the seventh exercise area, 130 km east of the port of Hualien (Taiwan), from 5:00 am (Moscow time) on Aug. 4 to 5:00 am on Aug. 8.

The PLA sent more than 100 warplanes for the first day of military exercises near Taiwan, including the most advanced J-20 stealth fighter and the newly revealed Y-20U air tanker.

Do you guys read the news at all? Or are you just posting to stir up some stupid take. Missed opportunity of what exactly? Please back up your opinion as to why in your opinion China has missed a golden opportunity to supposedly scare the Chiang Kai-Shek out of U.S. and Taiwan. You want the PLA to hit a moving ship? What ship? A civilians ship, a training ship? (That's been done) and or a military ship?

Chill out guy. I meant a dummy. The only moving ship tests I can remember were donr using DF-21s. If the DF-11/15 demonstrates terminal guidance, that would be fuckin' awesome.
The missile has to be tested anyway. US intelligence planes buzzing around China all the time，you will never test anything if you are afraid of it.
Back in 80s，China tested DF-5 missile deep into the Pacific. There were lots of foreign intelligence units monitoring that test，so what？
Not hard core enough man, that dude wants to see some real action...some of our members have shown how far detached they are from reality nor experienced mayhem, destruction, and death which is why we tend to let our imagination get a hold of our passion and then assumed in our head how things should turn out in real life only to face reality that any use of force, even a display of force are complex.
Fair enough. The exercise isn't finished until the 8th so we'll see.
