For a start, it threw a hissy fit when Australia said it would acquire nuclear subs. Nuclear proliferation and all that stuff.

Its in reference to nuclear weapons of its masters based on its territory. The worthless spawns of English thieves and prostitutes cant even manufacture its own passenger cars what makes you think they can build submarines?

If you want Taiwan to feel the pressure, you need to either conduct naval or aerial exercise in those area. Or send some target drones and ships to the area, than shoot it down with SAM or ASBM,that's the way to show that you can hit moving target from far away.

Firing BMs at water is just. . . .what can I say,not that impressive or scary. As I said,it's something North Korea or any countries have
missiles could do today,PLA could do it 30 years ago. The drill didn't show any improvement in capabilitys of PLA compare to 30 years ago.
The US likely has recon planes in the vicinity collecting data on everything that's happening. It would be unwise for China to test its newest missiles at this time because it would give the US an opportunity to formulate specific countermeasures for it. Got to keep the best weapons to use in a real war..

I certainly hope there are not to many people around who share your opinion, because that is exactly what fuels Australia's stance with China.
Literally who gives a shit about Australia lmao. They've been infected by American rabies (read: MIC propaganda like ASPI) and will behave rabidly towards China no matter what, so China shouldn't give one crap about what its feelings are.

If it is a multi-day drill,PLA will clarify it. PLA always announce the duration of drills in advance, this time they didn't say it's a multi-day drill.

Really? You’re telling me that Taiwan island is surrounded Chinese navy now?Can you show me pics/maps etc ?

This drill is a disappointment to be honest. I don't see any difference from the 1996 one,or North Korea firing BM towards Japanese water. To the opponent,it's more of an annoying action than deterrence.

You must be out of your freaking mind to say stupid nonsense. The Chinese action isn't about pacifying or satisfying keyboard commandos and wannabe strategists like most of us here myself included pretend to be.

Our ass isn't on the line, we won't see combat or action either in the Pacific or elsewhere period, so easy on false bravado. And judging from what the world media has been expressing the Chinese action is just right; not too soft and not too provocative either. So for you to declare with a smug like declaration is utterly confusing and irresponsible.

Also, can you guarantee that whatever your cooking up in your head in terms of the amount of force display you're demanding the PLA to do would turn out the way you envisioned it? The Taiwanese would curl up and declare surrender from sheer awe of PLA display of military power? Has that method ever worked? Ukraine's Elensky want to say pryvit myla.
