Live by Reuters: Nancy Pelosi departs Taiwan.
Like I said before, just let her land and then trap her in Taiwan province.
The only upset US can pull now is to interfere with the exercises.
But deadline is approaching while Reagen is moving away. Hence why I said US overplayed their hand. If they send their navy to the strait now after they claimed their "big victory", US would it make it extremely blatant that they just want war. No nominal US "ally" will join while China will have the entire non western world funneling support to them.
That is the ideal scenario for China to simply sink the US carriers, initiate military resolution over Taiwan and sign peace.
Therefore, US will almost certainly just stay put as the PLA does whatever it likes in the straits.
Americans are very very naive if they think China only had a single layer plan of "threaten to make Pelosi leave" and have in fact planned nothing if she didn't leave. Chinese government was escalating even after the Biden call, which clearly shows that even as they knew Pelosi would come, they still stepped up rhetoric.
They look cute when they hold gun in their tiny baby hands & threat others.
They will impose import taxes on Taiwan products.

What is an exercise going to do? The US called China's bluff and the only response is a military exercise AFTER Pelosi leaves.
After hyping up this event for the entire week, nothing happened and now they are censoring this event hardcore in the country. Is this a miscommunication between the propaganda arm and the rest of the government? Who knows.
