I can't find the picture right now, but haven't we seen pictures of manual reloading of HQ-7, with a team of six people?

I've only seen on-board reloading with the bulky reloader:

For comparison, RAM/RIM-116 on-board reloading uses a crane:

The missile weight of Crotale missile and RIM-116 are roughly comparable (76 kg vs. 73.6 kg). I suppose it's possible to reload by hand with a team, but not sure where spare HQ-7's would be stored on board.

The Box method, as depicted before

The Manpower Method, which I think is what the guy was referring before.

And the crane method.....used by the Army....with far too many men.

On the manual reload in pic #2 above, isn't that a bulky reloader that the guys are standing on? It looks like the guys are taking rounds out of the reloading magazine and loading it manually, which would explain where the rounds were stored.

I recall one discussion regarding Sea Dart missiles for the Luda, there were questions about where the missiles would be stored due to lack of space on the ship.

I'm guessing these are two 053H2 for Bangladesh Navy? They are not in a bad condition and not a bad addition to the navy

US has on its list 7 Perry Class for deactivation, 6 were due to handed over to the Pakistan Navy but due to a combination of circumstances we got only one, USS McInerney now PNS Alamgir

The 7 Perrys are the following
USS FORD (FFG 54)* * * * * * * * *31 Oct 2013* * *
USS THACH (FFG 43)* * * * * * * * 15 Nov 2013* * *
USS NICHOLAS (FFG 47)* * * * * * *17 Mar 2014* * *
USS ROBERT G BRADLEY (FFG 49)* * *28 Mar 2014* * *
USS DE WERT (FFG 45)* * * * * * * 04 Apr 2014* * *
USS RENTZ (FFG 46)* * * * * * * * 23 May 2014* * *
USS HALYBURTON (FFG 40)* * * * * *08 Sep 2014* * *

now if Pakistan opted for 6 put all six through the Turkish GENISIS programme they would be pretty potent warships all for probably under a $1 billion

Add to that the 4 x F22P FFG that makes 10 x FFG all good platforms for PN

However I believe PN is likely going to go for a upgraded F23P platform to align its naval fleet alongside the Chinese so 4-6 F23P are on the cards giving Pakistan 4 x F22P and 4-6 F23P total 10 frontline FFG with Turkish replenishment tanker which is under construction at Karachi dockyard plus the one we already have PNS Nasr

The fact that no talk of Perrys is on PN cards leads me to believe that more F22P FFG will be ordered because we don't be using those 6 Type 21 for much longer and they are getting old now

So PN willl have a good surface fleet and if we get 6 SSK from China add to our 5 then we have 11 SSK

A good balance in the region for stability
