European engineering some time get too complex and unless mass produced. very expensive.
but why Australia expect post Covid US engineering will be better than European?. i think European aviation products are facing far less crashes but they may have less high tempo training. so not easy to quantify.

These headlights will be busted by the first tree encountered, lol ! But the tank look nice. The crew is in the turret or in the rear ??? nowhere to enter the front of that tank.

Such programs typically have no success without the home country buying them. And with the $100 billion USD budget increase in Germany I bet this, or something similar, will get funded.
