Oh man all the Trump fanatics are gonna call the results bogus if Biden wins.

They would probably have done that anyway, although the way the vote has been counted in some states - delays in urban areas causing sudden bumps in the Democrat vote - could have triggered them a bit more.

It will depend on how Trump reacts, either after the votes are counted or after there are final court decisions. But if Biden wins the counts I don't think the Supreme Court will change anything. Bush v Gore in 2000 was about a recount way after election night was over, specifically a manual recount ordered by a lower court that the SC had the right to overrule. That's not happening here. I don't think the conservative members of the court will help Trump in that sort of scenario.

If Trump doesn't take legal action or he does and loses, even he might concede relatively gracefully.

Expanding the courts to 13, with a 7-6 liberal majority restores the balance of power in Supreme Court and reflects the will of the American people (and results of Election, that is likely Biden).
That will fundamentally change the power structure of America - regardless of who wins the executive branch, all he/she has to do is appoint justices to shift the SCOTUS in his/her favor, rendering him/her a dictator. It goes against the Constitution and the ideals of the Founding Fathers.

The SCOTUS was never expanded to 15 Justices - FDR just got fed up with the New Deal not being passed and proposed expanding the SCOTUS by adding a justice for each existing one aged over 7 (in this case 6), expanding the court to 15. It proved a miscalculated political move as it saw minimal backing by the Dems, the SCOTUS still remained at 9. Events in the world eventually changed and FDR was able to see his legislation through Congress and the SCOTUS.

FDR failed to pack the court, I don't expect Biden to be able to do the same.

Remaining PA votes of 1.4 million appear to be overwhelmingly Biden. This can tip the scales for this state.

If the current polls hold in AZ, NV, WI go Biden, and GA, NC goes Trump, then EVEN IF Biden loses MI, if Biden wins PA, then it's OVER OVER.

We will only know PA, fully counted by Thurs/Friday though.

Well, you have to have control of the Presidency and Senate majority in order to expand/pack the courts. You make it seem like the President is some sort of King or something. If Republicans retain Senate majority, then Biden can't pack the courts even if he wanted to.

VP also serves as President of the Senate, essentially leading the POTUS's agenda through the upper chamber while also breaking any tie votes.... Plus up till late last night it sure looked like the Dems were winning the Senate, giving them control of the legislative branch alongside the executive branch in a Biden victory. That would've opened the very pathway to expanding/packing the court, and creating precedent for future administrations to do the same when the SCOTUS doesn't favor the brand of legislation or political ideal.

Honestly I'm just trying to refute how packing the court is a bad idea... I'm not American anyway (all be it I went to college there... Does that make me a spy in Pompeo's books? Lol), so honestly I really ought not to give a flying toss how corrupt American bureaucracy is becoming. Yay democracy.

Race and the color line are central to American society and life, not peripheral to it. To ignore the color line is to ignore reality. In the end, reality almost always wins.

Any discussion of politics in American politics which does not seriously consider the context of race and the color line is a priori inadequate and imprecise, if not irresponsible and a public disservice.

In all, to clearly state that Donald Trump, his Republican Party and movement are committed to keeping America a type of "white space" is verboten for most members of the Fourth Estate.

Contrary to what many liberals and progressives would like to assert, Trump's white "working class" voters are not irrational. Instead, Trump's "white working class" voters have made a different calculation about what is most important to them. Even if Biden wins, the fact that this election was so close with Trump's complete incompetence in the face of COVID means populism isn't going anywhere. At this point, the Republican nominee has a good chance of winning 2024 if he can mirror Trump's personality.

I'm sure Josh Hawley, Tom Cotton, and Mike Pompeo are lined up just for that

You forgot that after Justice Scalia died in 2012 (election year), Obama nominated Merrick Garlan for Supreme court, but Republicans blocked Garlan's nomination for over 1 year in 2012 because it was an "Election year" and Republicans held control of Senate. Now after Justice RGB died, Republicans are ramming Amy Coney Barett through during an election year (massive hypocrisy). You know their excuse was? "We have control of Presidency and Senate, we can do whatever we want because we have the power that we won fairly and squarely."

It's been like that since forever. Whoever has the power in US can do whatever they want. Republicans have proven this in the past, you make it sound like it's a new thing like "wow, that's breaking precedence."

My question to you is, if Republicans are clearly exercising raw power to get what they want, why do Democrats need to be limited by procedural rules when it's not even the same playing field, not even the same game? It's not even a fair fight.

I agree, the analysis that uneducated working white males think other ethnicites get special treatment, and now they want their turn. It's not good if Biden wins and this underlying symptom isn't address because it can lead to a rise of a new Trump (one with better filter, smarter) that plays that populist right-wing role. Hopefully Biden/Harris does something, but it doesn't look promising... fuck.
