There's a reason why in history countries that invade other countries tend to have very little natural resources of their own. Europe and even the US don't have the majority of resources needed to maintain an industrial based economy. The US and Europe would have to get a lot more countries onboard to not do business with China to help contain. The West already blames China for raising the prices of those resources because China out competes them in getting those resources. So how likely is the world going to join them when China makes them more money than if they just did business with the West. If the world naturally favors them as they like to believe and promote in their propaganda they wouldn't be in this bind against China in the first place. It's China being a competitor that has them worried and that's not a crime. So who's going to join in an act of war to contain China just because China is a competitor they can't dominate? Are they going to show the world for not falling in-line with helping to contain China by not buying the resources they need to maintain their economies?
What does the U.S. has to offer to the EU? Assuming that Biden is winning with current margin, I don't think his admin has enough political capital to have another trade deal, nor they are willing to accept one to spite China. We still have a significant probability that Trump will return in 24 and rip off the deals.

Not really. If there was a 269 to 269 tie, that would mean there's a state with one delegate that breaks the tie. The lowest number of delegates in a state is 3.

Trump is saying he was robbed of states because he was ahead in some states because they were colored red and now it's blue. This is what I hated about TV coverage of the election last night. Many stations were coloring states red or blue based on present vote count and how precincts in a state reported in. I don't believe they did that before. They left states blank until a winner was declared and then they colored the state red or blue. So now a state can be red and then turn blue based on what votes were counted so far as precincts reported in. Dumb idiot Trump sees he's winning because a state is colored red and then thinks fraud is happening when the state turns blue.
I think it is fraud.
Richard Nixon lost the election to John Kennedy, and the thought was he was going to contest it legally. It was extremely tight result.
Nixon thought about it, but rejected it and allowed the result to stand.
It was the Cold War and Nixon though it was more important that he had to show the world how democracy would work.
Trump has no obligations to do the same.
This election is stolen.
Age could count against him and some people are suggesting he is showing early dementia characteristics.
If he avoids prosecution/jail time by pardoning himself may be viewed negatively by the voting public.
By 2024 the Republicans may have found a charismatic leader better than Trump.
Futhermore Biden is expected to join the TPP.

Add in Turkey and Pakistan. If SCO can loop in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, and Indonesia even an EU+US alliance will only have rough parity. This would be a far more even match-up than the cold war.
