Just a handful of flights obviously wouldn't have marks as obvious as that.

Agree. But then we are back to speculation. There might have been cat launches but the evidence is of at least touch-and-go.

Full launch means 1) recovery first of aircraft flying in and then

2) launch and maybe

3) recovery again and

4) definitely a final launch because the Fujian comes back to port without aircraft but with mockups.

I doubt they would leave mockups on deck during that kind of operation.

Because it's not as "clear" as one might think. They just talked about this in a podcast on 西葛西造舰, but basically he says they only conducted touch and go this time because of how much work it is (various planes, various sea states, etc). And the mark on the jet blast deflectors should be a lot more clear. Timestamp 1:14:10

But also apparently he has some insider info on this, so we'll see if it's true.

I would not put much trust in 西葛西造舰. I tried to listen to his talks and find them to be trash. He speculated too much and I’m highly doubtful he has any insider info.

Though he does "talk too much" and I don't take all or most of it at face value. I think the above points by themselves are reasonable, however.

It's probably a whole squadron. One J-15 won't be making that many passes.
