One more.

Amazing how a LHD and a LHA in the foreground would make a 85K-ton CV not seem that big.

With watermark removed by AI. It's not perfect, but it's less distracting.

Anyone ever wonder why the port side dotted lines are so much wider than the starboard lines? It's almost as if the designers intentionally don't want the waist cat to be occupied while landings are taking place, even by a fighter with wings folded.

I think the foul lines for the landing strip consider that an aircraft on approach may show abnormal positioning to port rather than starboard. This arrangement is identical on USN carriers. A guess.

If pilot sense a failed landing and not able to take off, it is better to swing to the port side to cause less damage, isn't it? So the foul line is further away from the center to keep less space on the port side.

The Guancha trios talked quite a bit about speculating catapult launches during the 7th sea trial. I think at this point it's very likely that launches didn't happen during the 6th trial.

They said they got inside information that the landing and launch didn't happen, and to land KJ-600 on Fujian was more challenging for PLAN pilots than to land fighter jets.

Now I'm surprised: First you claim "the landing and launch didn't happen" and then you continue with "to land KJ-600 on Fujian was more challenging for PLAN pilots than to land fighter jets."
So did it happen or not and how could the landing of a KJ-600 have been more challenging when it did not happen?

@cornerodriguez Care to explain your anger to my post above? I think it is a legit question to ask if a certain post makes no sense at all!

No, it didn't, but they did lots of touch-and-goes. It is said pilots and LSOs were nervous when KJ-600 was doing touch-and-goes.
