His words:

If this is all the proof he had, I don't think his judgement or viewpoint is of any persuasion.

I never said it is proof, all I said we have nothing that hints towards a larger hanger as you claim.
But to the contrary, we KNOW for sure based on several images that the Shandong is NOT longer, NOT wider by a few meter as you still hope.

So again, yes nothing is confirmed but if others should decide what's more likely: something is longer/larger/bigger even against any imagery or your claim?

Sorry, my friend, but in Germany we have a saying: Du bist total auf dem Holzweg!

I don't think the size of aircraft carrier hangar can be measured by eyes.

Please think about it. The hangar is a Structure of more than 150 meters deep and 35 meters wide.

Any panoramic photo of a hangar could only be taken from one end and inside the hangar. The photographer could only be standing inside the hangar because there are no doors or windows for the photographer to take the photo from outside.

So we can conclude:

1. There could not be any photo showing the whole hangar of an aircraft carrier.

2. The percentage of the hangar in the photo depends on the location of the photographer taking this photo. The closer the photographer is near one end of the hangar, the more part of the hangar he could put into the photo.

and

3. The size of two hangar CANNOT be compared by photos of the two hangars.

Please show me the source that can prove the hangar of Shandong is the same as that of Liaoning.

Your expression "all imagery we have seen NOTHING that hints the hangar to be larger" is really shocking to me.

I can't imagine that the hangar size of two carrier can be measured by news photo ...with eyes!

Come on ... yes, my eyes are at least good enough to see that it is not "a few meters longer and wider" as you claim. In fact this is shocking to me that you try to stick to your own claim regardless what we have at hand and contrary to that you have nothing that hints the Shandong to be longer and wider than the Liaoning; and please do not quote a stupid Indian link or Wiki.

If you really think "we have nothing that hints...." then you should not take the idea of "the two hangars have the same size" for granted, my friend.

But we see that your claim the Shandong is longer and wider by several meters is totally wrong! So what does this tell us about your ability to conclude or your eye-sight?

Yes, in fact NOTHING! And if you don't agree, go and present proof to persuade us. It is not my duty to show you that I could eventually be wrong.

Now we know that Shandong has a fighter aircraft configuration of 28 J-15s, 4 more than Liaoning. This achievement cannot be accomplished only by shrinking the projected area of the superstructure. It should have a larger hangar.

This alone needs to be checked! From what do YOU - and in fact not we - know this?

I totally disagree with your research method of observing the photos of two aircraft carrier hangars and judging that they are the same size.

But I'm not going to convince you.

Let's just keep our own opinions.

Agreed, and I know we all can have our own opinions, but I strongly disagree that you reject so easily my own thoughts even without explaining why you think different and even more why - in contrary to all we know confirmed (just put an image of carriers side by side) you still insist the Shandong should be longer and wider by several meters and where the number of J-15s you mention is from?

that's my point and in fact disappointment. When all facts are on the table and then we both go off with different opinions, then its fine ... but that way is barely understandable.
