Crisis in the Ukraine

An intricate story from Slovakia (I'll skip most of the details as I don't know if it's important or not): Today somebody by the name
Miroslav Roháč
with a Slovak passport was caught by the Ukrainian Army (if confirmed, this would the first case of an individual from the EU fighting on the side of Separatists -- he was shooting a mortar), and the picture of a former Slovak Military with that name appeared on some servers, but now the guy from the picture was located by journalists, and since obviously it's not him who's gotten caught in Ukraine, he said he would sue ...

Journalists in front lines face exceptional dangers.

"In early September, came the tragic news of the death of the missing journalists in August Andrew Stenina, Andrei and Sergei Vyacha Korenchenkova. The remains of all three were found in a burned-out car in the settlement Dmitrovka. Machine journalists moved in a convoy of civilians, which ruthlessly shot punishers Kiev junta, and then - to conceal the traces of the crime - was set on fire. Sergey Korenchenko - our countryman, simferopolets. A true patriot, journalist Sergei Korenchenko from day one was in the area oevyh action in the Donbas. He owned the first footage from the crash site of the Malaysian Boeing. "The Voice of Sevastopol" helped smuggle the remains of Sergei in Simferopol for burial of the deceased journalist in his native land."

I was going to say that it was not beyond the realms of possibility that Putin and Poroshenko agreed for official Russian Peacekeepers to operate in rebel areas as part of the verification process of the Ceasefire.

It now seems that there is an even simpler answer as to why this white APC was in Lugansk yesterday. It was to do with reconnaissance and liaison regarding the 200 White Lorries that crossed the border and drove to Lugansk this morning

The convoy is confirmed on most media.

Czech, Polish, Ukrainian news-servers keep telling me Separatists attack the Donetsk Airport, while Russian servers don't mention this place (but announced one civilian in Donetsk had been killed this night by the Ukrainian artillery fire:

so I wonder what's going on there

Clashes and shelling at Yasinovatoy

According to Cassad Kiev forces are launching probing attacks to determine the weak points of the militia defending this town. This town is crucial to the defence of Donetsk even in the last Kiev offensive which failed to take the town.

"Briefly about the situation Yasinovataya about which questions are asked in connection with reports about shelling and clashes started. 1. It is not yet full-scale attack, which is expected from day to day, and reconnaissance, which is carried out by a battalion with artillery support, which handles the position and army checkpoints Novorossia. Our hard soprotiivlyayutsya and respond with artillery fire. 2. Clashes under Yasinovataya were yesterday, there both sides suffered losses in men, and our reportedly killed was greater than that of the junta. 3. Serious assault Yasinovataya forehead does not promise quick results, as the garrison Yasinovataya always be supported lumped reserves standing in the vicinity of Donetsk - that tanks and mobile artillery batteries, which are within 1-2 days can be transferred to a critical section. 4. Why Yasinovataya? Because as it was written in July, this town is the key to organizing an offensive Donetsk on the north-western direction. 5. In August, it tried to take and even reach the city center (there were even claims that Yasinovataya took and hung the flag of Ukraine), but came up reserves and knocked junta. Tried to solve the problem Yasinovataya by in-depth coverage of Donetsk, but as you know, and there did not happen. Now the junta back to the old track and begins to probe the immediate defense Yasinovataya. In this case, the artillery preparation and comes in a number of other items, pointing to one of the main areas of future impacts of mechanized parts of the junta. Overall, this sector of the front junta has almost completed the concentration of troops and conducting probing positions army Novorossia to determine the most suitable areas for the upcoming a full-scale offensive."

I read in a Saker article that:

"In short, regardless of Hungary’s willingness to sell the Kiev regime hundreds of T-72 battle tanks to replace catastrophic Ukrainian losses of armor in recent months, Kiev views Hungarian nationalism with suspicion. "

Note the reference to Hungary selling hundreds of T-72 tanks to Kiev.

American Kulak wrote that long article and in the comments section he shared more info on those T-72 tanks. And he explained how Kiev, being bankrupt state, can still afford to buy those tanks just as how some powers can declare not sending lethal arms to some Syrian rebels those same rebels can end up with arms still. There are always black holes in national budgets meant for just such international emergencies where defending democracy from the hordes is the end that justifies the means.

And any disagreements please do take it up with American Kulak whom we all know is a traitor, of course.

"a) we still do not know how many T-72s exactly Hungary was able to provide to Ukraine, I've seen estimates ranging from the dozens to hundreds and photographs of T-72s on trains headed east into Ukraine. We only know that:

b) the arms deal was completed through the Czechs as middle men to get around the EU regulation against selling weapons directly into an armed conflict zone, and that the money the Kiev regime used to pay for the tanks came from either the US or EU taxpayers via Brussels or the IMF because Kiev is broke. Undoubtedly this being Ukraine and Central Europe there were kickbacks all around, though whether one of Orban's colleagues or cronies were involved I cannot say. There clearly is a fight going on under the carpet between Fidescz/Orban loyalists, some of whom have quite friendly ties to Russia (with Jobbik being openly pro-Eurasianist and Duginist attending conferences put on by Dugin's people) and the Hungarian Deep State types who may be more loyal to the Bundesnachritendienst BND (German security service) or their American counterparts."

Actually you can also say the separatists were played out by politicians from Moscow and even though they didn't sign the agreement they still kept the truce. Is it so hard to see things are not one side is evil and the other side totally pure and good?
The ceasefire is very unpopular with the militia from Day 1 because it's meant to save the Kiev from a rout that will likely end back at Kiev. Strelkov was forced to resign as Militia Commander in return for Russian humanitarian aid for the civilians.

A fair person would admit the separatists have generally kept to the terms despite many probing attacks by Kiev forces looking for weak points.
But of course, there will be those who will be blind to the very obvious, as Putin said, of the role that Russia played in the current ceasefire. Hence the sanctions still from EU. Putin got played out and the one side which is Ukraine came out smelling of roses, saved from total catastrophic military defeat.

The translation is from Google Translate so it's not so nice but the context should be understandable.

"LC and DNR and were not parties to the talks in Minsk

Speaker of the Parliament of Donetsk's Republic Boris Litvinov made a statement, which indicated that the DNR and LC were not parties to the talks in Minsk and acted as observers. It was also stated that the 12-point agreement to perform in Minsk is not possible.

In fact, encountering massive opposition militia commanders and ordinary militia, guide people's republics caught in the crossfire when one side of them presses Moscow, and on the other - authoritative armed men. Unenviable situation, so leadership is trying to maneuver to and from lobbyists truce in Moscow did not quarrel, and warlords pots not beat. All this leads to a public distancing from Minsk declarations that it was too rotten smell, so that you can speak openly about their support."
