Another pride before the fall situation coming right up. You would think that the west would stop with the whole antagonize China thing since it didn't do any good during the whole trade war, HK riots and now the pandemic. Since the virus has spread far and wide and now the mutations may ensure that the latest western vaccines are useless against it, well I guess this could spell doom for the whole western world if they keep on acting so high and mighty. There arrogance is going to be there undoing
Dr. Li is good example of what the media would say if in China. However, this incident wouldn't get much traction in China and the liberals in China would still try to paint a more open and tolerant US and the superior of the democracy of allowing dissenters and whistle blowers.
Imagine what they are going to do with Chinese Americans if they are doing this to their own white folks...
They are just upholding the law. They are supposed to be equal opportunity abusers.

Fuck all about it being reported by the BBC even now. Somehow I doubt they would be so slow to react if the results were poor.
Not really that surprising... the western big pharma probably paid good money to keep as much of it out of the ‘free media’ as possible... otherwise how will they justify making the governments and people pay through the roof for their vaccines.

US sanctions on Iran are still on and Iran can't purchase vaccines because they're blocked out of SWIFT. Really China and Iran should work on a currency swap and supply Iran with Chinese vaccines. Not like Pfizer and Moderna are within reach for Iran, so is Oxford probably. China's are also cheaper and effective
