Coronavirus 2019-2020 thread (no unsubstantiated rumours!)

Or maybe some lab in Europe or America was planning to use this against China as per of yet another stupid scheme to take China down while spreading democracy like the lying hypocrites they are, like they tried to do in Xinjiang and HK just recently only that not only has it failed but now all this backfired in the more horrific fashion available whilst striking the very heart of democracy by proving that on the whole, democracy with western characteristics has failed in ever sense of the word against this virus and it has exposed there weaknesses for all the world to see.
There is simply no way this virus could be so wide spread and so mutated unless this virus didn't originate in the USA and also didn't have the time to mutate to the extent it has because if you think about it, how can so many people die of the flu each year in the USA and they even confirmed early this year that some of these flu victims have coronavirus symptoms

At a minimum, given what we do now know (and what has been reported public) about US military members inadvertently being an infection vector into other countries that it has bases and military members at etc then its likely if COVID has already been spreading since March, September 2019 in EU and elsewhere, that the Wuhan infection might have been started by foreign participants in the World Military Games last October. I think there was reports many of the US members fell ill and gotten sick, and some of them even ate food at the so called Wuhan wet market.....

Are you suggesting a bioweapon warfare against China? No one in their right mind would use a coronavirus as a weapon. Everyone knows how integrated the whole world now is. It’s literally a suicide when you intentionally give a virus to the most populous nation in the world that has the most connections with virtually every part of the world. And you give it during the most notoriously gigantic human migration on this planet (Chinese new year travel season)? That’s stupidity to the nth power. It’s like putting a poison in a bottle of wine that you know you will drink too.

This is not rocket science. Anyone will a minimal understanding of how a virus works should be able to predict the outcome. No one is stupid enough to intentionally poison China. Just not happening.

It’s literally a suicide when you intentionally give a virus to the most populous nation in the world that has the most connections with virtually every part of the world. This is not rocket science. Anyone will a minimal understanding of how a virus works should be able to predict the outcome. No one is stupid enough to intentionally poison China. Just not happening.

To play devils advocate, perhaps it wasn't even against China per se, maybe a group of elites got together and decided globally we have just past peak oil, climate disaster on the horizon, resource depletion, population overshoot and we have entered the permanent era of "degrowth"... so instead of letting it play out (say they ran simulations of it ending in WWIII) this is a "managed decline" of humanity as a whole in which a top down controlled demand destruction is put in place, not a cruel as rapid depopulation but over a decade it will significantly scale back the developed world's citizens standard of living and thus lower the entropy exported per capita (which is a net good for the earth if it can be lowered etc) resulting in a "Lost Decade" for the entire global economy but buying time for humanity to figure out how to solve the existential crisis of climate change etc etc

Wasn't Bill Gates running Event 201 simulation at the same time of the October Games?

By elite, I assume you mean smart people? No intelligent human being would do this. It’s like poisoning your own well. No one will do this. An evil cult, maybe. But not elites. No evil cult has access to any of the capabilities that will allow them to do stupid things like this. I suggest we stop discussing these crazy conspiracy theories. If interested, we can open another thread to talk about conspiracy theories like lizard people and ancient aliens. Although I don’t believe these conspiracy theories, I am very familiar with them.

Our family doctor is a very capable physician is against the wearing of masks in most instances and I have started to follow his advice in the last couple of months without any noticeable signs of catching the virus.

Yes, I was against wearing masks at the beginning, and I was wrong.

Effective protection means that we need to wear masks properly, which requires certain level of training. That’s my experience in the lab. That’s what mostly motivated me in against wearing masks by the mostly untrained public at the beginning. However, later Overwhelming data are showing masks are effective in protecting the general public. So I was wrong. I underestimated the ability of the general public to adapt. So I was wrong. For that, I apologize. That was very arrogant of me and I shouldn’t underestimate.

Rather then suggesting, rather just entertaining the possibility that it is but given that many nations did have a look into this contagion, many of them have stated that this is a natural one. Heck, the stupidity would be simply out of the world if it is really a manufactured one that is intentionally unleashed because if it was then this virus has been delivered to China in the most stupid way that it is almost begging for failure.
To me, I reckon that this virus is indeed researched on in the USA but rather then intentionally spreading the virus to China, one of there researchers may have caught the virus, spread it around unknowingly while the virus is in its early stages and went around the world, infected China earlier on, went to Europe later on with the virus having mutated and hence the difference between the strains. After all, it is impossible to spread it intentionally when it can easily be tracked back to the source but if it was genuinely unintentional then it is harder to track. Not to mention the Trump has been doing his upmost in relying on blaming China rather then actually researching on the origins of the virus makes things quite suspicious on his end. Not to mention that his recovery is too quick hence there are lots of unknowns

Yeah, I always cringe when I see people holding their masks with their hands touching inside of their masks. That to me is almost certainly contamination. But somehow people are ok... and evidence suggest that wearing masks provides protection better than not wearing one. No matter what I believe initially, I must respect data. Data is data. And when you look at the data, the only one wrong is me.
