In the spirit of clarifying accurate information i would like to mention a few things about you're posts.
1. SCMP says the first patient was November 17. That's from retrospective analysis of viral infection data, you cannot extrapolate that it was detected at that time. We see pneumonias all the time, we do not do specific testing on all of them. Hindsight is 20/20 and in this case, this is an assumption of patient zero.
2. The CIA warning in November was actually debunked by the National medical intelligence head. They have stated repeatedly that the intelligence report pointing to November warning does not exist. So the fact that some people believe it could exist is more conspiracy then fact. If we are to accept no conspiracies then we can't accept thus one either.
3. WHO tweeted that there were no signs of human to human transmission but on the same day told all members including the US that there were signs of LIMITED human to human transmission and to expect that this disease may have SUSTAINED human to human transmission. This fact was also reiterated by the Chinese CDC. It was a week later they there was sufficient evidence for SUSTAINED human to human. So you really can't say that the world thought it was fine, their health authorities were informed of limited human to human transmission.
4. Taiwan asked the WHO about the new virus and if it was related to SARS. It made no mention of human to human transmission at all. They probably took a gamble that it was like SARS but did not present any evidence it human to human transmission either.
