Nah even in the west it’s the same. Often the migrants choose to cram dozens in a house to save as much money they can.

There are many Chinese migrant workers in Australia like this. They pretty much get enslaved and often get raped. Then again people don’t learn until they get hurt.

Thanks.

But do you know of any slaughterhouse in Australia with infection rates similar to the US. The US is experiencing an unprecedented number of outbreak throughout the poultry, cattle and hog industry. Many of these slaughterhouse have outbreaks that infected more than half of all workers and are being forced to close operation. So much so that the meat supply in US is now in jeopardy.

Australia may not be a good comparison as the infection rate is not comparable to US. But Europe has a large hog industry and large infection rate but we do not hear any outbreak in the same scale as the US. Same thing for Canada for the hog and cattle industry.

US is trying hard to suppress freedom of speech and freedom of press by targeting SNS accounts critical of US policies and by harassment of Chinese news media.
Why is the US so afraid of Chinese media and contradictory worldview?

You miss the picture in Singapore totally.
Right at the top are the political elites and their families.
Followed by their cronies such as those running the dorms.

The average Singaporeans are nothing but 4th class citizens and just a rung above the foreign slave class.
Democracy is a transmogrified form of guided democracy unimaginable to anyone not living in Singapore.

lol, you conveniently forget to mention that most Singaporeans have higher purchasing power(yes even after minus off CPF) than most population on Earth. A safe environment whereby women and children can be outside at night and still feel safe. A high standard of living with good and ample amenities.

US state department criteria for labelling accounts as ‘propaganda bots’ seems to merely be that they make and like posts that the Trump regime dislikes. It shouldn’t surprise anyone since Trump openly calls US new organisations ‘fake news’.

The excuse the state department gave after Twitter rubbished their baseless accusations is that this is only a sample out of a quarter million ‘suspected’ accounts. Yeah sure, as if they didn’t pick the 5k that most strongly support their case to send to Twitter to investigate. It’s pretty telling that they couldn’t even rub together 5k ‘Chinese bot accounts’ after all that looking. If there really was a state campaign, there would be a hell of a lot more accounts that 5k. You can easily rent far more to boost your profile as an individual.

The harder Trump tries to smear China with these half baked nonsense claims, the more he demolishes what little credibility the US left.

Credibility does not matter when one is the leading hegemon. MIGHT IS RIGHT remains the sole true principle behind the so-called western-led "free and open" world order.

They are free to migrate off elsewhere if they really think the PAP gov treat them so badly. Slave are not given the option to escape, Singaporeans does.

I can see where you are from. You giving a totally misleading picture of Singapore.
Why do Singapore politicans need to fix and rig elections if they are so good?
And control all the papers there and fix all kinds of rules?
and draconian laws.
A collection of 2 persons is counted as a riot.
And only folks like you can write into the papers there that life in Singapore is so good and paradise on Earth.
Anyone saying anything else will not be printed.

I do not care to argue with you or to see anymore of your posting again

Whatever you have against Taiwan politically, they're not incompetent. They've had one of the best responses globally to Covid-19, with only a small number of cases. That's down to a disciplined government/administrative response and planning ahead. There's always the possibility of more cases from a second-wave, but at least with respect to the intitial/current response they've done well.

I have nothing against Taiwan. I think Taiwanese people are some of the nicest and most courteous people in the world. It’s the DDP that is the problem. I don’t know if they are simply naive or the biggest liars in the world. Most likely both. Either way, evil, stupid and incompetent.

Wit regard to the COVID-19 situation in Taiwan. Yes, they have done a good job. However, that’s mostly because they have been lucky. They were lucky that the virus originally came from China. The DDP is against China. Because of that, China had stopped most of the travel between the mainland and Taiwan last year. So not so many mainlanders going over to Taiwan to begin with. Then the DDP has no issue implementing the harshest border closure because of their anti-China policies. So I’m not surprised at all that they did a nice job containing the outbreak at the beginning. Then when the pandemic stemmed from Europe and Americas, they lost control a little because they could no longer implement the kind of harsh border closure with the Mainland. So for the most part, Taiwan is doing a good job on the COVID-19 because of their anti-China political view, not because of their governing competence.

As you are most likely aware, when it comes to the actual governing, the DDP has been a huge mess. With the masks, with the currently going on economic stimulating packages, with the recent Kim Jong-Un theatric, etc. Anything that has something to do with the actual governing, the DDP has managed to make a huge mess. Taiwan has a population of merely 23 million. Yet, the DDP is making it look like they are trying to manage a population of 23 billion... No other country in the world has made a huge fool of themselves like the DDP government. In another word, incompetence.
