Found some time to check out the presidents tweet and sure enough, all comments are about what name to call COVID-19. GENIUS implementation.

It’s pretty telling that even now, when COVID19 is spreading like wildfire in the west, western pundits and politicians are still far more worried about politics than actually dealing with the crisis.
They keep harping on and on about how China ‘bungled’ it’s initial handling of the crisis now more than ever, in a bid to deflect form their own, exponentially worse performance. But just like their response to the crisis, that is not based on facts and reality, and instead is based on political spin and lies, and that is the problem!
If there is one overwhelming factor that explains China’s good performance in dealing with COVID19 and the west’s utter bungling of it, this is it. While large sways in the western political and media elite has stopped believing in science and wants to spin and lie and theories their way out of difficult situations, China believes in science and facts and doesn’t argue with them.
The biggest culprits in this sad state of affairs in the west is the utterly biased and partisan MSM. This is what happens when ‘free speech’ trumps reality.
And no, this isn’t ‘west bashing’ before anyone start to complain; this is fact, and this is deathly relevant to the issue at hand, because it goes to the heart of the west’s utter failure to adequately plan and prepare and deal with this crisis.
So long as the western MSM wastes theirs and everyone else’s time with political point scoring articles like the one quoted above; and western politicians continue to try to spin and lie and go out of their way to avoid learning from all the things China did right in its handling of the crisis for petty political reasons, the crisis will get worse and more people will die needlessly.
China will not need to do anything.
China can just sit back and watch it unfold, if China is me.
But China being China, much more likely China be gearing up to help the rest of the world including those
that mocked and smeared and cartooned China and kicking China and counting coup on China when they thought she was down.
I just hope China will focus first on those who are friends and asked and needed the help. After all, just as the West are going to do triage and kick their old under the bus, China resources are limited and should be used wisely and selectively.

Western MSM is probably one of the biggest cause for the spread of the virus outside of the lack of action from the government. The constant downplaying of the dangers while blaming and attacking China just makes it worst for everyone involved. I see so many people not taking this virus seriously in the US and any effort that was done by China to contain it is somehow seen and a bad idea.
Try to keep politics to a minimum, I missed some of the good links coming out of this thread since it was locked.
Crazy to see the situation at grocery stores right now. I can’t believe that the Canadian governments around the country had allowed so many conferences to continue. They should have been a little more proactive.
Still have a conference last week! Unbelievable. I think maybe they were a little overconfident due to the fairly effiecient testing so far. I believe over 30,000 done, which is more than the US, a joke considering the much smaller population.

As for the craziness at Western and USA grocery stores, try to find the time to see this.

Saying strangely those scenes were never seen in Wuhan and other places in China during lockdown and prior to lockdown
And that the shelves of supermarkets in China still very well stocked.
