I don't even know what you have refuted. If you felt you did, good for you. China reported 2 deaths on 12/19 and 5 deaths on 12/20 so I don't know what you are talking about. They also reported 2 deaths on 12/4. See, you don't do your homework.


Your assessment is just guesswork. You don't have anything to support your claim. Throwing number around isn't statistics.

If you have problem with how China reporting deaths, that is your problem. Most people here don't give a damn.


When the West lied and used conspiracies where are those intelligent people. When India burned bodies for weeks and reported so little deaths where are those intelligent people.

When those so called intelligent people on the Chinese social media that calling for an end to covid zero and COVID as a flu were are those intelligent people. The same people who cried about covid zero and thought covid is no more than a cold now suddenly grow a conscience. Give me a break.

Vaccination campaign has been ongoing for months. You didn't get the notice or didn't even pay attention. It is just that elderly refused to be vaccinated even with government paying them hundreds of Yuan to do so. A few members here actually recommended for mandatory vaccination for seniors but there is a debate if that would be wise.

Now I know you didn't care about China and just came here to preach. And you lied about reading this thread as there are dozens pages of arguing if mandatory vaccination is necessary when incentives failed to entice vaccination among elderly.

If the Chinese government sending out teams of experts to go door to door vaccination isn't enough, now you accused China for preventing elderly from vaccinated.

You would have me fool if I didn't research and find out that the Chinese government were giving out free stuffs and money to entice people to vaccinate. There are mobile bus to drive elderly to vaccination centers and teams that go door to door.

Zhejiang released the covid situation in its own province. According to the data, even though the number of positive cases is high - 400,000 per day, the number of severe cases and basic diseases is very low. The current number of hospitalizations is only 13,583! The actual situation is much more optimistic than expected!


"In the past week, the highest number of visits to fever clinics in the province in a single day was 408,400. The province is currently treating 13,583 cases of new coronary pneumonia in hospitals, 1 severe case caused by the new crown (currently in stable condition), and 242 severe and critical cases caused by underlying diseases (accounting for 1.78%)."

Anecdotally, I was the only person in my family who got Pfizer + boosted from the hospital. And I got the worst covid symptoms compared to everyone else who got non-MRNA.

Everyone's body is different.
That said, if I'm going to get infected every 3 months, I'll rather not rely on natural immunity.

I'll probably see if I can get a non-MRNA booster some time next year.
Too much hype over updated boosters, newest variant already killed its effectiveness after a few months.

I got only one shot with Johnson & Johnson and didn't want to have mRNA vaccine. Me, my brother in law unvaccinated and nephew unvaccinated are the last one who hasn't gotten COVID. A family with over 50 members. The other one's with 2-3 shots (Biontech, Moderns) got multiple times COVID.

Jin Dong-yan was one of the experts who kept telling Hong Kongers throughout all of 2021 to stop taking 'useless' inactivated vaccines and go for MRNA instead. Of course, what actually happened is elderly people get easily scared by a scare campaign and decided against getting a vaccine shot.

One of his biggest contributions to Hong Kong public health death.

This doesn't bode well for Jin's credibility, because Hong Kong's own study indicates that 3 doses of CoronaVac is as effective as 3 doses of mRNA vaccine.

Chinese CDC will release the data of cases once a month after Jan. 8. Hopefully, they will still release vaccination data daily.

Bro not only in China BUT for the rest of ASEAN, Indonesia and Cambodia had received the majority of the Chinese Vaccine and yet you never heard a report of mass infection, here in the Philippine even with MSM propaganda majority of us received Sinovac and there is no serious cases I know of, many recurring infection are the one that use western vaccine and from what I heard people are looking for Chinese vaccine for their booster shot BUT is hard to get as the gov't want to exhaust the supply of Pfizer before their expiration date.

Doubtful, after 3 doses, mRNA vaccines don't enjoy much of advantages against inactivated. It seems 70% got booster shots already in China around Nov. In addition, the few approved booster shots such Livzon and Clover for 3 and 4 dose produce more antibodies than mRNA vaccines.

Vaccine is never the issue. It is just that many elderly don't want to be vaccinated is the problem. I still remember how remdesivir was claimed to be a magic cure, then molnupiravir and now paxlovid. Both remdesivir and molnupiravir have rendered useless but people and some doctors still keep pushing such pills. It is all about money.

Likewise, mRNA and many other vaccines all can do the same job of preventing hospitalizations and deaths but mRNA has become another sacred medicine that the West and its supporters keep pushing. It is another propaganda and in an attempt to showcase the Western superiority.

You never hear the Western countries approved any vaccines from China or Russia. I mean when a few Eastern European nations wanted to import Chinese inactivated vaccines. Many of them were forced to abandon the plan due to the threat from the US and EU. Consequently, many Eastern European nations were forced to slow down their vaccination campaign due to lack of vaccines. It clearly shows that the image of Western superiority is more important than human lives.

I doubt China wouldn't have approved mRNA if it is really and truly superior. Paxlovid was approved even though it only offers small benefits to certain group of people. Even though China has its own alternative pill Azvudine that works the same way and shows better performance than Paxlovid in the clinical trial. Paxlovid would cost 2300 Yuan and Azvudine is only 300 Yuan but it didn't stop China from approving Paxlovid. Imagine how much money the West could make from selling mRNA to China.
