Not going to happen, it has CIA funded color revolution all over it. Many of those protests especially the smaller ones were protesting more about Xi and CPC than zero covid. A4 paper, umbrella revolution, yellow revolution, Arab Springs, Jasmine revolution, and Orange revolution all have the same hallmark on them and so lack of creativity. All of them probably trained by the same people.

Actually, protests started shortly after the government has shown intention for gradual reopening. So it is a very well calculated and coordinated moves. Basically, if the Chinese refused to reopen quickly, the protests would gather steam and more people would join. If the government decided to reopen quickly, then things would get bad and more people would suffer. Either ways, the CIA wins.
Since the r0 of covid is almost 20, the control of the epidemic requires a high degree of public cooperation, so even if only one in a thousand people do not cooperate, the virus will spread wildly, leading to continuous blockades, so it is okay to change strategies according to the situation!
As the production capacity of ibuprofen and other antipyretics shifts to China, the impact on foreign markets may appear soon. You can prepare some medicines to be prepared!

I wish I could get sinopharm or sinovac. I hate mRNA vaccines. I've seen so many people who's autoimmune disease flare after mRNA and one protein sure add a direct result of the vaccine that I am pretty sure would not have died of it was a none mRNA vaccine.
i hate my government for forcing mRNA on everyone. Even the internationally renowned and country's top infectious disease expert says that it does not matter which vaccine people take, yet the government is being an obidient lapdog only recognize mRNA vaccine.

My wife and me and friends have noticed we are losing a lot of hair from too much mRNA vaccination. Perhaps anecdotal but we will no longer be taking any more booster shots.

China has been trying to convince people to vacinate but zero covid was one of the hinderance of convincing the last 10+%. The theory from WHO was that the zero-covid wall was broken already and covid was already spreading rapidly in China. With the protest , declining economy and general dislike of lockdowns, they did not have the political capital to force an even harder lockdown.
Just wanted to give a shoutout, since its one of the more reasonable explanations here. Too much talk here about how lifting retrictions was a logically calculated chess move from the government, when really it was just a policy that ran its course because it wasn't sustainable anymore, and wasn't warranted given the weakened virus and the high vaccination rate.

Not quite. After pondering a bit about the sequence of events in China, the one thing that stood out to me was the mask-less Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan at the G20 and subsequent meetings. The rest of his staff members wore KN95 masks while those two didn't wear a mask at all. Chinese people are really sensitive in this regard since they expect the leader to set an example for the people, so Xi not wearing a mask contradicts his zero-Covid policy. Considering the fact that Xi personally emphasized zero-Covid so hard in the past, I wonder if he did that on purpose.

(ECNS) – An online platform where citizens can ask for necessary COVID-19 medicine from neighbors for free and share the surplus was unveiled through a WeChat mini program.
As people’s demand for medical treatment and medicine increases, the Chinese government has advocated citizens to buy drugs in a rational and appropriate way.
Via the WeChat platform, citizens can quickly determine the demand for or access information regarding medicines. Relevant content is sorted according to the release time or distance, which greatly improves the efficiency of mutual assistance.
Many citizens with surplus medicine have actively reached out on the platform.
"Recovered, I have excess ibuprofen. Anyone in need can take it," a netizen said.
"I have some extra medicine and I can send them to you by my battery cart if you live within five kilometers around Beijing Normal University," another said.
The "COVID-19 prevention & protection medicine public mutual assistance platform" was developed by Tencent. The platform only supports people providing non-prescription drugs recommended by National Health Commission.

This might be alu hat theory, but I noticed that too on myself, and I'm barely 20....

Got 5 times Corminaty (still got Covid in this early december) and my family does not have history of that much hair loss in their youth yet my forehead is as high as gramps...

I was quite furious reading this news. Just want to ask: "Where was the Delta variant from?"

There are many more worst examples. I wonder why Youtube still has not banned the channel for breaking so many of the site's ethical rules. Examples of ethical violations. 1. Calling the Covid-19 the Wuhan Virus. 2. Propagating fake information that Covid vaccines are useless.

He had to appear strong and confident, in front of all people, especially when he met with all the other world leaders.
