Westerners are truly sheep after reading all these articles spelling out how BA2 is doom for China. They have more infections, more deaths, more symptomatic cases per capita and somehow it's the end times for China while they're handling COVID-19 overall best?

I have been wondering about why mainland does not mandate vaccination. It would make sense if it is due to lack of full approval. Can you share the source?

Damn things are starting to get a bit concerning. It seems like most of the issue is coming from Jilin and Shanghai.

They have increase testing significantly so is inevitable they will catch more cases.

It will get worse before it gets better. Jilin has been getting better but a flare up in another city Changchun in Jilin province has delayed the cases from going down. Shanghai would be at least a week away before getting better.
