@getready same bro, Dec 31, eat out in a Japanese restaurant with the Family, Jan 3 a slight fever, then a very severe sore throat for 3 days on the 6th I'm okay, from my friend doctor diagnosis, with 3 doses of Sinovac , the vaccine had done its job, my lungs is not affected. Now the infection rate here in the Philippines is on downward trend, with warmer weather, I think this virus will die out, so instead of Pandemic it will become an endemic.
Yes bro, hopefully so. Good to know Phillipines is weathering the omicron storm. Unlike HK. The vaccine definitely saved alot of lives and hospitalizations.

@getready You know what bro, I never imagine that our populace will be this discipline, It's the Duterte Effect! Leadership counts, even with not enough resources and some early misstep compare to developed country, at least we are doing okay, It's not doom and gloom.

What about Long Covid though? Are Americans gonna operate around with slightly deflated lungs due to COVID?
I know several people that were out of the running for like a week and never really got back to 100% of productivity.
Imaging letting that rip through your economy each year in the flu season it like slowing down a economy for like 5~10% for weeks if not months.
