BEIJING -- Chinese scientists designed a cocktail antibody that can deliver a one-two punch to the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
The researchers from Capital Medical University and Chinese Academy of Sciences developed the bispecific human monoclonal antibody against SARS-CoV-2, combining a noncompeting pair of human neutralizing antibodies, namely B38 and H4, to target two antigens, thus blocking the virus from binding to its receptor.

The double-kill antibody or bsAb15 has shown greater neutralizing efficiency than its parental ones, and more potent neutralizing activity against the Delta variant, according to the study published on Nature Immunology this week.
They selected escape mutants of the two parental antibodies and demonstrated that bsAb15 can efficiently neutralize all escape mutants of single antibodies.

Also, the new antibody was shown to reduce the viral titer in infected nonhuman primates and human ACE2 transgenic mice, making it a feasible and effective potential strategy to treat and prevent severe COVID-19, according to the study.

So, its covid cases and death are still keep increasing. Same thing with South Korea and Japan, both countries use mRNA but still have more and more cases and deaths.
It looks like Singapore cases are moderating. They have fewer cases than Hong Kong, adjusting for population.

The main problem is some people have refused to get vaccinated. Carrie Lam has done a decent job. More vaccine clinics are now giving the biontech vaccine.

The authorities/experts responsible for the vaccination program really have to look at the real-world data in their decision-making and not just listen to the most popular opinion of the day.

Why is it that Cambodia and Indonesia using mostly inactivated vaccines are now doing much better than countries like South Korea, Japan (mRNA vaccines)?

They will really have to look into many more countries using different vaccines to know whether this isn't just a blip in the data and there is really something substantial in it.

That's because Hong Kong allowed people to go out and gather during the Chinese New year. Its cases would come down within a month as covid burned out.

Same case as my elderly relative in sg. He had 3 mRNA doses. But worse symptoms than you, like a very bad flu he said, worst he had in awhile. Fever, chills, pain, sore throat, headache, blocked nose, coughing, weakness. Got better about day 5. Now day 7 only a little coughing but still return a positive test. Activities can carry on though

@getready same bro, Dec 31, eat out in a Japanese restaurant with the Family, Jan 3 a slight fever, then a very severe sore throat for 3 days on the 6th I'm okay, from my friend doctor diagnosis, with 3 doses of Sinovac , the vaccine had done its job, my lungs is not affected. Now the infection rate here in the Philippines is on downward trend, with warmer weather, I think this virus will die out, so instead of Pandemic it will become an endemic.
