Coronavirus 2019-2020 thread (no unsubstantiated rumours!)

The true efficacy of the Pfizer Vaccine is probably 30%-40% as was reported in the trials in Israel.
The 90% efficacy figure was always very
suspicious and it has been confirmed by the recent reports of shoddy testing procedures.
There is a chance that inactivated Vaccines like Valneva and Covaxin could be available in North America.
Lets hope that this whole improper testing scandal blows up and makes people realise that Western Big Pharma companies are corrupted and have been pushing improperly tested vaccines on to the people of the world.
I am not trying to defend Pfizer but the fact is that other vaccines (Sinopharm, Sinovac or AZ) also have very low efficacy in preventing you from infection. All of my company staff are fully vaccinated with the 3rd dose. About 50% got infected as of today. The bright side is none of them got serious or need to be hospitalized. The latest example was a pregnant staff who tests positive on Oct 30th, after taking medicine for about a week, she now tests negative though still no smell, no taste.

The big difference between Sinovac and Pfizer is,
Sinovac did not claim 95% efficacy.
Sinovac trials are done by 3rd party, even in hostile environments.
Whereas Pfizer trial is done locally and now alleged to be questionable which reminds us of how the 737max was certified.

Agreed. Sinovac trials were mainly done in Brazil and efficacy was announced to be 50.4%.

There's one fact that people may neglect is how many times people have contracted the virus but the vaccines protected you from infection. You don't know because you don't see the viruses coming to you. You only know when you are infected and test positive. As of today, I don't give much hope on how much vaccines can prevent us from infection but I'd give more hope on how much vaccines will protect us from hospitalization or death.

and by extension, the associated FDA and FAA certifications are also questionable.
The collusion makes them complicit in the deception.

The US, and their other eyes, is not reliable anymore.
We cannot trust people who are proud to proclaim,
"We Cheat, We Lied, We Stole".

Remember how Pfizer first touted their vaccine.

News/ Pfizer and BioNTech Announce Vaccine Candidate Against COVID-19 Achieved Success in First Interim Analysis from Phase 3 Study
November 09, 2020
Vaccine candidate was found to be more than 90% effective in preventing COVID-19 in participants without evidence of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection in the first interim efficacy analysis

My, how Pfizer proponents have moved their goal posts now that real world events have brought them back to earth .
Sinovac is now free and included in Singapore's national vaccine program.
Maybe belatedly our Melbourne Medical School trained Director of Infectious Disease realized Sinovac isn't what he had been brainwashed to believe.

Unfortunately I didn't wait for their enlightenment and paid $116 for my Sinovac.

I recall you commenting your third dose is AZ. I'm curious as to your other staff's third dose. Was it AZ or one of the same vaccines?

I have a small group of staff just 10+ persons but a variety of vaccines usage. For the 1st and 2nd dose, we had Sinovac, Sinopharm and only one person took CoviShield (Indian version of AZ). For the 3rd, all AZ (donated by Japan).

Were people infected from work or from elsewhere/home? If from work, was everyone wearing facemask while working?
