A Hong Kong study found that 2 doses of mRNA vaccines have 10 times antibodies as 2 doses of sinovac vaccines.

A third dose of sinovac is needed for the same amount of antibodies as two doses of mRNA vaccines. Now if a third dose of mRNA vaccine is needed, more doses of sinovac are needed.
Your obsession with mRNA is just getting out of hand. Firstly, antibodies wane over time and are not a good measurement of vaccines effectiveness. Secondly, only one booster shot is required for any types of vaccines. It doesn't matter which one.

For all vaccines, antibodies wane over time, so you better get the vaccine with way more antibodies right after you get it. Even sinovac itself is recommending a third dose. Now some countries are recommending a third dose. Even some China biotech companies are testing their mRNA vaccines.

Hi guys, anyone knows me will know that I usually don't speak anything bias. And below is some facts that I encounter recently; however, I haven't drawn any conclusion yet.

1. Due to concern of the 3rd jab, I carried out quick anybody test on all my staff with fast test kits. The results were all of us have anybody though the Control Line look very pal (the darker color the more antibodies), most of us had Sinovac
2. My sister's whole family went to test antibody at a lab and their results were:
a. My sister's antibody read at 2200 (not very sure what this number means), she had AZ
b. My bother in law's read at 1700, he also had AZ
c. My nephew's read at only 70, yes, you read it right "seventy", he had Sinovac

The tests at my company used fast test kits and didn't give results in numbers and for the case of my nephew, he eats very spicy which might neutralize the vaccine. I don't know and I do not draw any conclusion yet. However, it makes me decide that I should take the 3rd jab of AZ when it's available to me.
As UAE, Hungary, Bahrain, Chile, and Paraguay have all contained their cases, I would say both Sinopharm and Sinovac work well. However, it is obvious that both Sinopharm and Sinovac produce much less antibodies than Pfizer, Moderna, and AZ. So taking AZ to boost antibodies if that is what you looking for then it is a right choice. Beside AZ side effects seem to affect young women and elderly more than men.

Pfizer effectiveness for preventing infections drop to near zero after 6-8 months against Delta. Moderna seems to fare a little better but not much. Antibodies don't seem to be the best indicator of preventing infections. In addition, both Pfizer and Moderna wanted and recommended a third dose also.

I am not against mRNA vaccines. It is just your obsession with mRNA vaccines that is troublesome. Personally, I am not too keen to take a booster shot from mRNA vaccines. Hopefully, things don't deteriorate so much in the US that I would be forced to take it.

@SteelBird bro, my sister in law after taking her second dose of Sinovac had been infected 10 days later, my wife castigated me for taking the same vaccine cause she wanted Pfizer instead guess what she recovered and immediately take an antibodies test 1488 on her first test then 1860 on the second (3 days apart). What her doctor explain is that Sinovac and Sinopharm will activate its cell protection WHEN IT IS UNDER THREAT. Brother the important thing is your vaccinated any vaccine will do, its your choice but I prefer the safest and those are the Chinese vaccine even my wife acknowledge it and give me so much love thereafter...lol

Regarding test result my friend who has taken Pfizer had only 50 yes 50 and we joke about it a lot ....hehehe, but he is not concern cause his doctor assure him that ITS NORMAL and will protect him from severe infection.

The purpose of vaccines is to give your body's immune system knowledge of the virus. This way, when your immune system encounters the real thing, it will know exactly what type of antibodies to produce in order to neutralize the virus.

The purpose of vaccines is NOT to cause your immune system to produce huge amounts of antibodies. Your immune system is supposed to do that when under threat.

High antibody count to a particular vaccine means your immune system had a strong reaction to that vaccine, for whatever reason. It does not mean you are "more protected" against the virus than someone with a weaker reaction. It simply means your body had a stronger reaction.

Think about it this way: when taking vaccines for measles, hepatitis, or influenza, some people might get a fever (which is a reaction of your immune system toward foreign objects) and some might not. It doesn't mean the people who got a fever are more protected than people who didn't.

I think this is a very important point. Antibodies help prevent infection, and longer lasting T-cell and B-cell help prevent an established infection from developing into a serious infection.

What the Moderna study (and Mayo clinic and preliminary Israeli data for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine) seems to indicate is a fall in antibodies results in more breakthrough infections, however, protection against developing severe symptoms / hospitalisation (provided by the longer lasting T-cell and B-cells) still appears to be robust.

This is why Pfizer can be only 42% risk reduction in infections, but over +90% risk reduction in death. It's because the longer lasting T-cell and B-cells afford longer lasting protection post-infection to prevent an established infection from becoming severe and deadly.

TLDR: Antibody levels naturally wane over time, but T-cell and B-cells afford longer lasting protection. Vaccines elicit a robust T-cell response which helps prevent severe disease and death.
