Melbourne, a major city in australia is already under very strict lockdown but selfish shit- doctors and health practitioners no less!!!- decided to flout lockdown laws and have a massive party...where some of the participants were COVID positive.

Oh and they were jewish too, which means the lord, their god must not approve of them flouting COVID restriction laws.

I'm starting to get the impression that a lot of these delta cases started from a lot of privileged elites coming in from overseas, specifically holidays in india and the UK.

Incompetent. Didnt act fast enough in the beginning.

In comparison NZ lockdown after one case yesterday. That case was from nsw
We in the South Island are locked down for three days while Auckland and the Coromandel are locked down for seven. The Current number stands at 10 with modeling suggesting it could go as high as 150. It looks ominous with most of the current victims known to each other. Ones a nurse who did 4 shifts at Auckland hospital while infectious. Another is a teacher at a high school with 2000 pupils. Four of them went to the casino, and a bit of night clubbing on Saturday night, and then to church on Sunday morning.

China will change its policy if need be, to do what is best for the country. I don't know if Chinese cdc have the final say but I think they will provide advice to the government

I agree with Chinese CDC Chief!

'Zero COVID' isn't meant to be a permanent strategy. Lockdowns are temporary measures until everyone is vaccinated. China would not have spent tens of billions on vaccine development if it was going to lockdown forever. Vaccines aren't perfect at herd immunity or infections, but they are excellent at reducing the risk of severe disease and therefore death.

Even a third dose couldn't be enough to achieve herd immunity. A second generation shot is needed.

Some 37 people tested positive for coronavirus after their third jab, compared with 1,064 positive cases among those who had received only two doses, Maccabi said in a statement. The comparison groups had similar demographic profiles, it added.

A Hong Kong study found that 2 doses of mRNA vaccines have 10 times antibodies as 2 doses of sinovac vaccines.

A third dose of sinovac is needed for the same amount of antibodies as two doses of mRNA vaccines. Now if a third dose of mRNA vaccine is needed, more doses of sinovac are needed.

Hi guys, anyone knows me will know that I usually don't speak anything bias. And below is some facts that I encounter recently; however, I haven't drawn any conclusion yet.

1. Due to concern of the 3rd jab, I carried out quick anybody test on all my staff with fast test kits. The results were all of us have anybody though the Control Line look very pal (the darker color the more antibodies), most of us had Sinovac
2. My sister's whole family went to test antibody at a lab and their results were:
a. My sister's antibody read at 2200 (not very sure what this number means), she had AZ
b. My bother in law's read at 1700, he also had AZ
c. My nephew's read at only 70, yes, you read it right "seventy", he had Sinovac

The tests at my company used fast test kits and didn't give results in numbers and for the case of my nephew, he eats very spicy which might neutralize the vaccine. I don't know and I do not draw any conclusion yet. However, it makes me decide that I should take the 3rd jab of AZ when it's available to me.
