Actively advance joint development of wide-body passenger aircraft. I can never understand why so many people are so eager to kill CR-929, quicker and more certain than the governments.

to be honest. its just a statement .. Russia will remains the part of C929 but as supplier.

A production base for C929's composite (fuselage) components will be completed this year. The production base is located in the Qiantang district of Hangzhou and occupies some 538,700 square meters. The planned annual output is 45 composite fuselages.

Comments:

1. C929 is going to use composite components for fuselage, indicting a much higher ratio of composite usage than in C919.
2. They're already investing for volume production, at this stage of the C929 development. Supposedly C929 program officially only started last year after breaking off with CR929.

As they should, You don't try to make your top customer's life difficult the relationship will be seen as liability and cut off gradually, Once Comac products show reliability gulf countries will order en masse they're already frustrated with self righteous bullying of Airbus management

Such with the situation involving Qatar Airways (QR), who almost reached to the brink of cancelling their A350 orders.
