Do we know how many local and foreign components it is going to have? Lets start by saying that China+Russia products count as localRussian media: production of a Russian-Chinese aircraft began in China
COMAC has successfully a prototype landing gear assembly for a "large civil aviation aircraft". The only plausible candidate I can think of is the CR929.
The gentleman sitting fourth to the left in the very front row looks like Dr. Shi Haiming, a Chinese expert in AI and is affiliated with the National University of Defense Technology in Changsha.
Its possible that there will be foreign components that wont be available. There were/are problems with the MC-21 project regarding this.Do we know how many local and foreign components it is going to have? Lets start by saying that China+Russia products count as local
well sure you can but it will 1. cost more (not just money but time) and 2. have a hard time getting certified by Europe and US. now ofc with the way things are going if CR929 can carve out a market between China, Russia, central Asia and some of Eastern Europe, then it is definitely the way to go.with experience of ARJ21 + C919 and Russia included why cant both build C929 without foreign tenders ?
