Gameplay demo of Phantom Blade 0. Looks amazing! Chinese games have come really far from gacha games to this.

No release date yet, but it's probably coming out next year, which is concerning since it might be overshadowed by GTA VI.
I heard they are delaying GTA 6 to the end of next year. PBZ may not win any GOTY but it could still do well if they release it in the first half of 2025.

Actually new details were released revealing the game started development in 2022, so it might come out after 2025.

They're quite different genres, so I'm sure there will be enough breathing space for multiple games even if they come out in the same year.

For the next few months, Black Myth Wukong is the one I'm anticipating the most. There are indicators a demo might be released before the game's release in August, so we will see.

Western company Sweet Baby Inc. is trying to cancel Black Myth Wukong after failing to extort them of 7 million dollars. Some really evil stuff. Hopefully, the devs will take this to the government and have them blacklisted.

I believe one of the devs or at least someone connected to the devs posted this on Chinese social media. It also doesn't change the fact that IGN is deliberately translating a lot of the dev's words wrong to slander them.

I saw the same thing but I don't think that was a dev but rather just a random.

The fact that people are picking up on what some random person on Weibo is posting and than unceremoniously using google translate on it to signal boost things onto twitter and then having the usual brand of youtubers make videos about it is a reflection of how stupid these content farms are.

Unsurprisingly the developers themselves have been deliberately silent on this issue for many months, likely preferring to focus on the game itself rather than be distracted by culture war nonsense.

A lot of the games media have an agenda of sorts. As a fan of primarily Xbox it's being tiring.

Worse are your YouTube influencers that intentionally pander fake and misleading info for engagement.
