Late to this but Pathea Games is releasing a new game called "The God Slayer" which is scheduled for a 2027 release. Their previous games were "My Time at Portia" and "My Time at Sandrock". Both are farming simulators and are considered some of the best in the genre by both the West and Chinese critics. Their new games seem to be a Steampunk Wuxia mix which isn't something I've seen a lot of. Definitely looking forward to this.

Black Myth: Wukong releases a WeGame event trailer, with a Simplified Chinese PC standard version priced at 268 RMB.

I just saw an interesting comment that Wukong was based of off/inspired by Hanuman. After reading a bit, it does sound believable since Buddha was popular and well-known during that period.

dam only 268rmb China going to deflate game prices...:p
Even so, some people still think it's "too expensive."
This is China's very first 3A game, so the main concern is whether the game's quality can meet the demands.
Of course, another bitter reality is that the business model of mobile/online games has already encroached on the space of PC games. People have become accustomed to the existing payment model rather than spending money on a game with quality risks.

Mobile/online games with microtransactions can turn out much more expensive than a game with a big box price :(

My understanding is that games in China tend to be cheaper than those in the west (and even western countries vary by country).

If you look at AAA games on steam in China versus steam elsewhere currently, for example Elden Ring, it's some 20 USD cheaper.

I wouldn't be surprised if its release price in the US would be nearly 60 USD
