Monthly grosses of gacha games have become an obsession with the gacha gaming community. Who tops this month?

July has been Zenless Zone Zero. For August 2024, it's a pleasant surprise.

It's AFK Journey.


The game was launched only last March, since then had a growing trajectory.


The huge jump in revenue comes with Asian and Japanese launches.


Second place goes to Love and Deepspace which is what you call an Otome game.

The video trolls itself - The 2nd part showed a demo where the tiger demon levitated not under its own magical control but due to software bugs, the studio failing, and then switching to F&B business.

This person isn't particularly credible and people shouldn't get their hopes up too much.

Personally I wouldn't doubt if DLC is in the pipeline, but the nature and extent of it should be treated with caution.


Also, can we avoid single link posts without some commentary? I understand this is one of the less serious threads but even just a couple of sentences to justify or commentate on the content of a link would read better.

In other news, my second favorite series is getting its third sequel. Kickstarter will open later this month. I missed the Kickstarter for the first two games, but I won't miss this one. If we go by release history, the full release won't happen till sometime in 2027. Also, the new art style is amazing.

I actually love the post-apocalypse theme of the series, the more serious nature of the story is not something you expect from a farming Sim.
